Trading Post

Site Update

We now have a Trading Post linked from the Shops tab. This will be replacing the "Pet Trade" feature (which still exists, but was taken off the menu).

The Trading Post allows you to create lots of pets, items, and currency, and other people can make offers on it. You can link your lots in forum posts so that people have easy access to them.

Please note that because Aywas is steadily increasing in size, it's best to do all trades through the trading post to ensure you are getting what you agreed on. Trading your GP for BP (or the other way) should be especially done through the trading post so you can confirm you are receiving what you want.

Note: Please don't add thousands of items to one lot. While we will be implementing a limit later, for now make sure you are being reasonable with the feature when adding items from your inventory.

This feature is wonderful! It's a lot easier for people like me that don't do forums really well. @.@

Id really Like a Trade history or something to show up

When an offer is accepted and completed You cant go back & see what you actuality offered. May not seem like a big thing to others But I have a really bad short term memory so I forget very easily what i offered for something. When the notice for accepted is up & i click to go see what it was It Dose Show what the items for the Lot where. But not the Items I offered.

Plus it be best just in case Sellers want to confirm the items that were offered came threw just fine. if it isnt too much trouble to add a history for trades once they complete to show Both sides of the trade - what was traded & What was offered.

Definitely needs a search. Otherwise looks neat.

Any idea how long it might take to process an offer that has been accepted...?

I'd like it better is people putting up lots would be able to add prices for items/pets or say exactly what other items and in which quantity they want...

^ Agreed. It would save time/bandwidth, instead of having to click each lot to view. Maybe a mouseover effect that says what the person wants :)

Search would be awesome, too. :)

I would think something handy would be the ability for the person hosting the trade to be able to 'deny' an offer. maybe with a sentance for why. I imagine there will be a lot of people that have offers sitting in limbo without knowing anything about why its not going through.
