Once upon a time, the lands of Ay and Ara--regions already flourishing with flora--suddenly became blessed with enchanted fauna of any shape, size, and color you could imagine. Over the years they diversified and dispersed, many finding forever homes and larger pets to be companions for. However, one place in the lands remained reserved for these little critters, but was lost to all maps and knowledge...until today!
Welcome to the Fauna Forest--a place of frolicking, fun, and fauna!
Brought to you by Azi & Darsol (#6879), and which would not have happened if it weren't for Bex (#16)!
Here are some of the fauna* you'll run into amid the trees of the forest:
*Note that all of the fauna are currently classified as collectables so that there's no issue gathering them from the adventure region. Once the region closes, all of these items will be turned into fauna for you and your pets to enjoy.
It appears there are also a small number of fauna-inspired pets roaming the forest!
You might notice that there are less than 20 pets in this region, which is intentional since the spotlight is on fauna. :3
Speaking of the famous little critters, it seems that a few of them have been immortalized in sticker form!
You will encounter piles of stickers in quantities between 1 and 10.
These are account-bound points that will be used in the Seasonal Shop, set to open Friday.
You can see how many points you have at any time by visiting the shop.
Now, before you get out your nets and money lighters and come after me in rage, Azi and I want to stress that this is meant to be a very laid back event. Everything in the shop will be priced to be affordable, and the main things you'll find in the store will be fauna, clothes, and pets.
We also have a few more surprises, but you'll just have to wait and see what those will be!
The Fauna Forest will be open from November 18th - November 24th at 11:59 p.m..
The Seasonal Shop should open on Friday and close on November 25th at 11:59 p.m.

I don't know if this is an issue or not, but I've jumped at everything today and nothing. Isn't it usually a 10 percent chance you will get something?

I've maxed out the quests in the fauna forest, is this a "glitch" as well? In a few days am I going to be told that there is more questing to be done that there is a contest for? Am I going to be told that even though not everyone experienced the glitch nothing will be done to even the playing field? Am I going to have to work my ass off with no hope of coming close to winning?

Stop doing the quests guys, there is absolutely no reason to.

Then why are there quests in the fauna forest in the first place?! Dont add quests to an area if they are impossible to finnish!!! :(
This was supposed to be a fun event but this takes away the fun completely.

Sorincha (#2724), it seems as though it's just a coded thing that pops with every new region. It's not something they sat and added a certain type/number of things to. It's automatically generated. The quests in the last one were used differently than we've used them before. They normally are there just to complete a level/location and the event locations on average do not need you to do them. As you don't need to do them, not being able to complete them will not harm the event/your travels through the area at all. I for one am really happy (and grumpy that I cannot catch that one last pet I'm after. XD) that everyone is on the same level for this event. I wouldn't use my Aynip as there are only three species, I'd likely end up calling one up that I already have. My pet flute took me through 50 pets and none of them were the one I was after. It was funny. The main goal here is collection, thus the quests don't really give us anything. I hope that helps bring the fun back for you.

Not all locations have had quests.
There was absolutely no reason to ad quests to Fauna forest since some of them are impossible to do there. This really bugs me. Dont ad quests if we can´t do them. This could have been a wonderful event now it´s not.

If not being able to complete the quests ruins the event for you, oh well, don't participate. I really don't care. There's no reason to make Yasu do the extra work when its been stated over and over and over again all over the site (including in a news post) that there's no reason to do them.
There have been many event areas with pointless quests enabled. If its not announced that there's a reason to do them you should just leave them alone, or accept the risk of not being able to finish.
If all you like is questing there are many other regions you can Adventure in.
