I cannot thank any veterans personally. For I no longer know any.
There are my two great uncles to thank the memory of. Wish I could have met them.

Thank you to all that served.! My dad was a vet. The month he died we got a letter asking about him from someone he was serving with. It was sad they missed talking again .. Atleast I felt sad about it. My cousin served in the Navy.

I remember my father who fought in WWII and Korea and who passed away only a couple of months ago. Lest We Forget.

I can't serve my country, but today, when hubby and I went out - I made sure I saluted everybody that went past us in the parade. :) It made them smile. I liked that.
