"You can now call me a Kityip!"
The hybrid previously known as a Bunyip has been renamed to Kityip, per a community suggestion, since the original unintentionally shared a name with a mythical creature from Aboriginal/Australian mythology. Our apologies for any confusion or upset this might have caused, as the name was purely meant to be a bunny/fox combo, and was not intended as a cultural slight, and was an oversight on our part.
Thank you for the feedback as always! We hope everyone can enjoy this new hybrid. :3

There was a mecha vehicle in Ty the Tasmanian Devil (for PS2) named Bunyip. You would run around in this giant "Bunyip", which was just a giant robo suit. xD
Still love the word Bunyip and that mecha is what I think of when I hear it.
Still, whatever I guess. Pretty neutral about both of the names.

In what way was I being hostile!? I was the one that was being bashed at some parts, I was simply stating my opinion! I am going to have to say this is one time I stand out for my opinion (that obviously never mattered) & I am being hostile!? Admitting I got mad at one part, but that was because it seemed biased that some users had absolutely no input on the matter, it was just changed. & it is so obvious that you did not read all of the debate that had gone on, otherwise you would have seen that we came to a nice non-violent conclusion.

That's 11 pages of nonsense. Glad I know which users to ignore because a silly name matters over offending people. Yeesh. That said, I really like Kityip and how to site handled this. Thank you for being so open minded!

I thought the name bunyip was cute but completely understand why it needed to be changed. Either way I still really like this hybrid :-)

XD I'm glad of the change, though at the same time sad because bunyip XD
