Goodbye Breeding Coins!

Pets

Baaaaaaaaaw, I know. We're all sad to see the Breeding Coins removed from the Cash Shop as well as Tak's, but it's time for them to go. Didn't get enough money in time to purchase one of your own? I'm sorry! Save up your money though and who knows... maybe you'll be able to afford a couple by the time they're back in stock between March/April.

To help lessen the tears, how about I give out a few of these sweetie pies. The Beast Manticore! This is the default hybrid color you can receive from zaps or eggs, just like the other default hybrids (such as the Majestic Kyre). Want one? Go ahead and post below with what is your favorite "beast-like" creature and why and maybe you'll find one lurking around your lair.

I'm named after my favorite food, Beast Meat! omnomnom

These lucky users each got a new manticore...

I love mythological beasts, so Cerberus, the three headed dog who guards the greek underworld, hades, is one of my favorites. I also like the sphinxes of egypt! Moro from the anime by Miyazaki, the wolf god, always seemed to represent the nobility, wildness and un-tamable thing that beasts to me are and have always been. Of course basilisks who can turn you to stone with a gaze, and dragons of the eastern and western sort--especially dragonriders of pern!--have always been love. The Manticore is an awesome and great beastly addition to Aywas, do want! <3

Dear lord, what manner of creature is that?!? To you left, lower - lower... the most ferocious of beasts, the JUMPING SPIDER!! Yes, they're tiny, but most people are so afraid of spiders that I think they qualify as beasts. You have not lived until you've seen a good jumping spider mating dance, which can be quite elaborate. But what I love most about them is their body language as they observe the world around them. I once saw a jumping spider as she started to pass a chrome jar lid, and she reacted to her reflection like it was another spider! She rushed towards her reflection and crouched with her two front legs splayed, then raised them threateningly. She skittered sideways as if trying to flank her enemy. When these tactics failed, she paused and seemed to contemplate, then cautiously moved on. If there is one thing I cannot understand, it is how people's fear of spiders could blind them to the awesomeness of such a ferocious and amazing creature.

I just have to say, The lion! Some people may not count them as beasts but some might. I love their mane and colour. Their hunting skills are amazing, escpecially since they can take down a man in less than 5 seconds. LIONS!!

I would honestly have to say hamsters, at the moment. They are largely misunderstood, and thought to be dumb little creatures, but they are in fact brilliant. I myself, had a hamster who would come when his name was called, and currently own one, who pulled the water bottle from the roof of his cage, scaled the wall, and out the roof. I'm not sure how he figured out it would work, or did the act without injury, but he managed.

Scorpion-men >_> It was a monster from my father's RPG. The body of a scorpion, and the torso of a man coming out of the top. My character became friends with one (despite the scorpion-men supposing to be chaotic and evil). He saved my butt and I just loved him XD

Lamia, Has the beautiful face of an enchantress the front claws of a cat and back hooves of a cow or horse. Truly vindictive and powerful in every way.

Keats was so inspired by her to write:

She was a gordian shape of dazzling hue,
Vermilion-spotted, golden, green, and blue;
Striped like a zebra, freckled like a pard,
Eyed like a peacock, and all crimson barr'd;
And full of silver moons, that, as she breathed,
Dissolv'd, or brighter shone, or interwreathed
Their lustres with the gloomier tapestries-
So rainbow-sided, touch'd with miseries,
She seem'd, at once, some penanced lady elf,
Some demon's mistress, or the demon's self.
Upon her crest she wore a wannish fire
Sprinkled with stars, like Ariadne's tiar:
Her head was serpent, but ah, bitter-sweet!
She had a woman's mouth with all its pearls complete:
And for her eyes: what could such eyes do there
But weep, and weep, that they were born so fair?"

Beavers.

They look all hairy and innocent until they whack you with the tail-of-doom.
