Goodbye Breeding Coins!

Pets

Baaaaaaaaaw, I know. We're all sad to see the Breeding Coins removed from the Cash Shop as well as Tak's, but it's time for them to go. Didn't get enough money in time to purchase one of your own? I'm sorry! Save up your money though and who knows... maybe you'll be able to afford a couple by the time they're back in stock between March/April.

To help lessen the tears, how about I give out a few of these sweetie pies. The Beast Manticore! This is the default hybrid color you can receive from zaps or eggs, just like the other default hybrids (such as the Majestic Kyre). Want one? Go ahead and post below with what is your favorite "beast-like" creature and why and maybe you'll find one lurking around your lair.

I'm named after my favorite food, Beast Meat! omnomnom

These lucky users each got a new manticore...

HOWEVER. I believe my favoritism may have shifted a bit recently. As a person with five cats and a tendency to live in or around old neighborhoods, I modestly say that I have had a decent amount of "experience" with the supernatural. Up until recently, it has always been very minor, uncertain instances. A light switching on by itself, the animals reacting to something, floor creaking without reason, etc. All things that could be put off to simply faulty wiring, an old house and crazy animals(which, I assure you, my cats are crazy.) However, a few months back we moved into a nice-enough little apartment on the water.(C)

At first everything seemed lovely, however, a month after moving in I began to notice an irrational fear of the bathroom. (There's only the one) No other place in the entire place unnerved me even the slightest bit, except every now and then when I was feeling particularly jittery. It got to the point where I wouldn't use the bathroom after dark unless I had to, and when I showered, even during the day, I would always rush and run out of there with my heart racing in my throat. And I'm the sort of person who made a would-be road rage antagonist run back to his car; I'm not really scared of much, although, admittedly, I have developed some paranoia recently. Anyway, after almost an entire month of enduring this terror, it suddenly started to just...go away. I was still nervous in the bathroom, but only from thinking about when I used to be terrified. Without realizing it, within a few weeks I'd basically forgotten the entire thing.(c)

Yesterday morning I had another Supernatural Encounter, but this one was a lot different from anything I'd ever encountered before. I woke up at 7am, while the sun was barely starting to rise, and wondered why the hell I was awake since I'd only gone to sleep a few hours ago. Three of my cats were snuggled, fast asleep, around me, exactly the same as when I went to sleep. I turned my head to look at the clock, caught a glimpse of "7:04" and wondered if I'd slept all day or something, when I saw deep brown eyes watching me. I tilted my head and found an enormous doberman, a dobie that could be the poster-boy of all dobies, staring at me. After a moment of us staring at eachother, it turned and walked off, promptly disappearing before my very eyes.

And so, I have two favorite "beasts." The kelpie and my own person(as I am coming to think of it) Spirit Doberman.

...The spirit of BJ? o.o

My favorite beast like creature is Beast from beauty and the beast! He goes through such a personality change and is extremely fluffy!

I guess if that doesn't count I'd have to say Chimeras are next. They have a lion, ram, and dragon head; both animals of which I love + a super cool dragon. THEN they also have a snake for a tail, how cool is that?! owo

Dragons! Definitely dragons! So majestic!

My favorite beast-like creature? Manticore. Seriously. This is not just sucking up to try and get one, they're really my favorite mythical creature in general. XD I generally have a love for lions, then you add in the insect traits and poison abilities (I've never been a fan of the more sphinx-esque version) and they're just.. perfect. I want one as a real life pet. :c Even if it'd prolly eat me.

White Tigers, no doubt. They're inbred, and STILL majestic. You just can't not like White Tigers.

Hyenas. They're evil little guys, but they're adorable. And that laughing bark is so funny! ^_^
