Baaaaaaaaaw, I know. We're all sad to see the Breeding Coins removed from the Cash Shop as well as Tak's, but it's time for them to go. Didn't get enough money in time to purchase one of your own? I'm sorry! Save up your money though and who knows... maybe you'll be able to afford a couple by the time they're back in stock between March/April.
To help lessen the tears, how about I give out a few of these sweetie pies. The Beast Manticore! This is the default hybrid color you can receive from zaps or eggs, just like the other default hybrids (such as the Majestic Kyre). Want one? Go ahead and post below with what is your favorite "beast-like" creature and why and maybe you'll find one lurking around your lair.

I do love manitcores and pretty much all mythological beast.....although these manticores are a lot better looking that the actual one O_o some are down right ugly with their human faces.

My favorite beastie is the Beast of Gevaudan, because it was supposedly real (so say the hundreds of attacks and 113 deaths) and terrorized the French country-side for years, even after it was "killed" >3

My favorite beastie is the Peryton. They're winged deer with the shadow of a man. They look all pretty and innocent -- being deer and all -- but they fly around battlefields and eat the decaying corpses of men, stealing their souls and thus gaining their man-shaped shadow. 8DDD

Are we allowed to mention beasts from books? If so, I loved the Stormwings from Tamora Pierce's Immortals quartet. They were basically half bird, half human creatures made by the Chaos gods. Their upper body was that of a human, and their lower body was that of an eagle. They also didn't have arms, rather they had these huge metal wings, that could slice through anything. They fed on the dead bodies leftover in battles, often had dead, rotting flesh hanging from their wings. Their hair was in messy tangles, with bones threaded through.
If we're not allowed to mention characters created by authors, I also love Kelpies. Something about underwater horses that fascinates me. They often remain underwater until Halloween, at which point they rise from the water to collect souls that will sustain them for a year. They have seaweed draped over them. flesh is green, rotting and mouldy. They also have sharp teeth to rip things to shreds. ;D

If dragons count, those are my favorite. >>; I love dragons--particularly the pernese type. The thought of them fascinates me. Draconic beings in general interest me --it's one of the first things I focused on learning how to draw right, with how muscles and bone would look underneath the skin.
Do Not Like the wyvern variety though. Those freak me out a little. xD; They make me think of reptilian bats.
