So I'm sorta newish and I have a question. Is it just me or are the Teo's being advertised a lot more than most new species? Even so, such a proposition makes me lament my absence of knowledge in all ares relating to digital art, lol.

whats up with all the teo stuff lately? I mean, they are neat and all but I'm beginning to feel like they are being forced on us.
I'm also getting really tired of the artists being catered too so much. This is supposed to be a PET site not a artist site.

How do you determine who the unwanted Teos go to? It says you'll give them to someone who doesn't have a Teo yet, how do you choose? Just curious

WinterSweet (#1321) When I registered for the site everything about it seemed to be very focused on the whole "content made by users" so I don't think 'catering to artists' is any surprise. By allegedly "favoring artists" on this they're creating TONS of new Teos entering the site that can be bred and given away afterwards. You have to make 5 teos for every ONE you claim, so that's essentially 4 spare teos being added to the pile EVERY time an artist decides to claim one, each set with its own unique lineart too. If you're making something for the site it's only fair to get something in return, and having to do 5 of them for a single teo is a lot more troublesome and time consuming than you may think. It's not "catering to artists", it's simply a small payment for what they're adding to the site. And the ones that aren't claimed will be given away in the end. If they were to give away those initial 15 teos there'd only be 15 to be raffled among who knows how many people there are in the site, rather than the huge amount we'll have in the end. So I don't see what the big fuss is about in this case.
