TOS Update 7/18/2014

Rules

Aywas has updated its Terms of Service to add a new section under "Forbidden Material":

"No user may post any material that is sexually explicit or that is illegal in any way on Aywas.com. Users may not post about, mention, reference, or otherwise discuss the following topics: the desire to commit animal abuse, bestiality, child sexuality or pedophilia, warez or hacked programs, suicide, cult creation, or threatening of, or the killing of another person, both on Aywas and off. "

Aywas is not a place to discuss the desire to commit animal abuse or methods in which to do so. Thank you for your understanding and observance of our new rule.

It both saddens and sickens me that rules like this have to be made. What kind of a world do we live in? Sorry you had to address this Slash.

Wow, gross that someone would even consider. Thank you for the update, Slash.

It saddens me greatly that this would have to be included in the ToS. More than likely it was probably a troll trying to make other people's lives as miserable as theirs. -Tala

I can't believe someone would do that at all. :c It's disgusting. Thanks for adding it.

It is sad that a site has to add something like this to the TOS because someone feels the need to talk about such horrible things on a site that is supposed to be fun and entertaining.

I understand the legal responsibility issues with regard to suicidal ideation etc. but does this mean private feelings can't even be discussed via pm?

I'm really hoping that this is not stuff going on here, but just a general precaution so that it does not.. Everyone is so nice here, I can't imagine anyone would talk about the above mentioned.. Kind of comes as a shock.

Good update. Truthfully it's pretty scary to think that someone would break some of these. Hopefully this helps to 'purify' the Aywas community. ^^ Keep up the good work of getting these problems addressed! Don't worry if some users don't like this; if they don't, they probably shouldn't be on this site...

One would think this would be common sense. I weep for humanity :/

Why would you even discuss such horrible things?
