Pets
The adoption center has had its release fee temporarily reduced to 1 BP. I encourage you to put pets in there that you don't want so that new users can adopt them and give them love. Because that's all they want. They want some love.
I am not certain how long I want the release fee to be 1 BP, so take advantage of it to dump unwanted pets now. I might stabilize it around 50 BP later, but if you have a suggestion on what would be a good fee, let me know.

Wasn't it like 200 BP?
I think that's a really small amount considering how much one can get from dailies alone.
But ok.

i think put pets up for adoption should be cheaper and releasing more expensive coz putting them up for adoption benefits newbies while releasing is kinda selfish like i don't want others to have them so i release them kind of thing. :P Just an opinion..

Yes, it was 200bp, but as I said, I tend to spend next to every dime I have on pretty pets and stuff (to the point of having to go *egads* play games just to pick up items in explore xDD) so 200bp adds up /fast/ when you're dumping dozens of pets.. o3o;;;

Well, as it's only 1 to release and 200 to leave out for people to adopt, the price was right to just release them rather then making them available for others. I think it should remain fairly low as a better incentive to share than just release.

I like the idea of rarity influencing the price to sbandon/adopt like Thunderstruck suggested.
However I think it would work better in reverse. Commons being more expensive to abandon and rarer pets cheaper.
I guess mostly as a way to prevent the adoption centre from becoming a dump for common ays, or at least encourage people to be more selective with what they capture because it you know, costs money to throw them away.

Maybe you could flip the prices? Like it costs 200 BP to release and 50 BP to abandon a pet at the adoption center. I think a flat fee of 50 BP is a great way to go. (:

I agree - leaving them for adoption should be cheaper than simply releasing them.
If you were going to have the prices changed based upon rarity (as someone mentioned above), I'd make the rarer ones cheaper to leave for adoption, rather than the commons.

Oh the reduction is a good idea. I think it would make sense to have both the release fee and the adoption fee the same price.
