A Plethora of Custom Articles

Rules

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming for this important message - the Knowledge Base has been updated with four new guides on Custom Pets! (About time, pony, what have you been doing?) Truth be told I started on one but it led to another... and another... and another... turns out these topics are so interconnected it's hard to write about any of them without the others. :X I'm sorry. I'm also still working on a newbie guide, it just got shelved for a bit while these were finished up.

Crystal Check
Custom Queue Rejection Notices
Percentage Tutorial
Custom Rules Illustrated

If you'd like to comment or get answers about these new guides, head on over to the Think Tank, where There's a discussion thread available just for that purpose. I'll do my best to make things crystal clear.

Part one confused me until I hit the formula, it might help to bold it or put it in the top as Well as where it is now. I think by the time I got to it my eyes where just too crossed to realize what I was looking at.the second read made it all make sense, I'm more a math then a visual person, and I think having hard numbers to pop in an equation will work out better for me. Thanks for putting the time in to explain it all,

Bolding the percentage formulas separately (one formula on one line, "or" in the middle, the second formula on the third line) would help make them stand out. But thank you very much, Graymare, for the information and for taking the time to get an actual formula calculated to get a start with on the crystal checks. It does help to figure out just what things might be pushing the crystal limit when it is a touch unclear.

Bolded, also tried writing it out in a less mathematical way that might be easier to follow. And fixed a minor oopsie, I had transparency coming out of Base instead of Edited Base, not that it would actually make a difference in the final calculation.
