It was said for a long time that we would never offer users the ability to make Trunk items with their Custom Item Packages. This was due to the way they needed to be manually coded into the system and it was a daunting prospect to need to do more than three or four of these a month!
However in recent times we've had a new way coded for trunks to be a less nightmarish task, and after some consideration - a faulty start, quick withdrawal and re-plan - I am very happy to announce that we are now allowing users to create Custom HA Trunks.
All the information you will need is here - and of course if you need more clarification after reading the article please feel free to PM me, and I will see if I can make the article any clearer.
This is a retroactive change to how we are dealing with trunks, so the very few who have already gotten one through will be working with this system too, effective immediately.
This is a change I'm very excited about, and I hope that you are too!

I kinda wish there was some discount for getting a trunk. Seeing as right now, it'd be cheaper to just get the items individually, I'll be sticking with that... At this point, I don't see any benefit to the trunk (please tell me if I'm missing something).
I really think the trunk should be priced at "the number of items in it"-1 gp (6 items would cost 5 gp, 7 items would cost 6)
Also, it's a bit sad that I now need to change the price on my trunk so I don't end up loosing money. I was under the impression that mine would be fine as is but I can understand why it wasn't. Still disappointed.

Cosmos: it's probably just for a convenience like thing.
Example: buying a 20oz soda for 50 cents more than a 2 liter because it's more convenient to carry around a 20oz just for yourself

Trunks aren't meant to be a cheaper way to get more items, they're more of a novelty item =)

I think of a trunk as more buyer's convenience, myself, but I still really love the idea. There have been times I've been interested in buying whole sets, not just hunting down piecemeal items because they're unevenly stocked. Plus selling a whole set is also pretty keen. -Nomad

Nice! Just curious, would it be possible to make it so a trunk goes into the Trash for Treasure as an extra nice gift to other users?
