It has so been requested that a Random Breeding Addon Chest be added to the USD Shop. As it contains five addon boxes, this saves the time (and a bit of money) of buying five one after another. Convenience FTW!
This is a reminder that PLBC artist positions are still open! If you are fabulous at coloring, you should come give it a shot. Click here. Demand for PLBCs is rising, and so is the queue, so we'd love some more talent on our team :)
In other news, one of our programmers got back to us and said he should be able to do the pet search within the next week. Let's sit tight and hope that's the case and no other unexpected circumstances come up :)

Would be so happy if the programmer gets the pet search back up. Good luck to him/her! Thanks for the update too! Yay! :)

I wonder if it would be possible to get an alternate sort of PLBC application. I want to do them soooo baaaadly, but essentially all of my coloring examples are commissions, and I feel like that's actually working against my favor rather than for it. I feel this way because I give my customers exactly what they ask for, but if their taste and Slash's taste greatly differs, well... For that reason, I would very very much like an application more similar to those for other coin types- with example pairs and themes.
With such an application, the question becomes not, "what have you colored before that might be eye-catching", but "what CAN you color now with a prompt specifically made for this while also testing your edit-mixing, not only in terms of flat skill but in choosing edits that best compliment the theme together". In addition, it allows artists to be compared side by side more easily because it becomes not a matter of what they happen to have in their portfolio but what each of them is capable of when assigned exactly the same task.
Might getting an application like this be possible in the foreseeable future?

I actually would love to see bulk packs of most of the items in the USD shop, to be honest. I happen to have a Mastercard and it freaks out when I buy stuff online via paypal, so it only lets me process one purchase every 24 hours. Which is... super annoying and inconvenient. >.

@36207's idea is good, specially if it included a couple of 'common' themes and one 'difficult' one, with a couple of sets of psds to work with that included bases with foldered edits, and ones with all the edits smooshed on the base.

I like @36207's idea, too. I've been mainly doing colouration work, so I don't have many examples with predicts showing my ability with edits. An application, even if it's just voluntary (since some artists have plenty of predict/breeding team work), would be awesome. *_*
