Hello there everyone, my name is Miksa! I've been running around Aywas for quite a bit now working on saving up enough money for my own shop. Right as I got enough blue paws, Xero put his shop up for sale! It was just meant to be.
More like threw that shop in the trash and she picked it up. Ugh. If there were a trash can big enough for it, it'd be there. It was stinky and dirty and I HATED taking care of those pets. Good riddance.
Awww, now now. Pets create natural odors. Some are pleasant and some are... not ideal. The trick is to not put the smelly pets in a confined room! And the dirt just needed a broom and a pan to take care of. And maybe a mop.
Well at least that's not my problem anymore. Glad to hear you've fixed it up and are happy with it but I'm even gladder that I can leave it to you. *slinks away*
Indeed! I'll take good care of it, don't you worry.
And without further ado, I wish to present to you...
Miksa's Exotic Pet Emporium!
I thought this name would suite it much better.
And with the new name comes an entire new stock of pets! I found all of these pretty pets the past few weeks on some of my cataloguing missions and figured they'd be happy to have some loving homes.
I decided not to change the stock rotation schedule, however. As usual the stock will change every 3 months. After the 3 months, the pets currently in stock will be permanently retired and a new stock will replace them. So buy them while you can!
I've also found a few new pets out in the wilderness of the Aywas world. I couldn't make them tame enough to sell in the pet shop so I'll just show you them so you can catch them yourself.
If you want to design some Adventure pets, go and post them in their respective threads here! There's also a chance that the designs accepted from that forum will go into the Pet Shop! Remember, you can earn SP!
If your design is now in the pet shop or in the new adventure release please contact Kyu (#1010) for your free copy.
You may notice that all the threads in the Pet Coloration Submissions Forum are new. Mauri (#1010) fixed up that forum a bit and a few things were changed.
All old threads were locked and moved to the archive. If she commented on one of your posts asking you to edit a design you posted, please post the new edited design in the new thread for that genus.
The forum now requires a form to be filled out to submit colorations. A main addition to the process is requiring .PSD files to be linked in the post when you submit the design. This should hopefully ensure that the site collection and the breeding artists have all .PSD files for any site pets added after this point. Please read the Pet Colorations 101 thread before submitting a design. Another point worth mentioning is we would prefer you linking the .PSD files via dropbox, sta.sh, or google drive, all of which are free to use. If a .PSD file for the pet is not linked with the design, your design will not be accepted.
This .PSD file requirement will soon spread to all contests and events that allow pets to be submitted to the site. This will include Monthly BP and GP shop pet threads and other event pet threads.
Phew! That's been quite a long news post so far. But I'm not done yet! (Hang in there, the end is soon!)
Along with the new Adventure pets, I've been given the fun task of pulling the tickets for the pet coloration submissions forum raffle! Oh, I just love these sorts of games!

And one last little thing, Graymare (#14978) asked me to mention that the item that was known as "Hybrid Genus Vouchers" got a name change! It's now called "Seasonal Genus Vouchers". This should hopefully be a less confusing name since this item doesn't make Hybrid Pets.
And I think that should be it! I'm beaming like the sun; I'm just so happy. I'm in a bit of disbelief that I own my a pet store now. I hope everyone likes the new look and please don't mind the paint paw prints on the floor. I'm cleaning those up since a certain Pawpaint Unus tracked those in.

@2775: ah. I didn't know you can use dropbox from the page o.O I made an acocunt aaaggees ago but whenever I tried to login and do stuff it would always tell me to download the program. and it never worked with the Linux version I had. gonna try out if I can make the browser workable. As for google drive, well :p bf is in IT. so ofc he tells me not to let google know everything. (not using photobucket either btw :P its totally buggy for me lol). thanks for the headsup on using dropbox in the browser, I really didn't know that worked.

Hello, Could someone tell me ( in detail , please, I've never used a dropbox and don't have the first clue) where to go, what steps to take, how to know if I'm doing it right...etc.... this is all sort of new to me, is there a code I need to click on, I'm so confused by technology. :s I'm using GIMP for the first time ever since I joined Aywas. I love art made with a PC., even though I'm still new to it all. If anyone can please help me with that info, would you mind terribly pinging me so I have it in my private messages to use as a reference when I need it? Thank you sooooo very much! xoxoxoxoxo XD Namaste! XD

@32813 - I won't try to understand your boyfriend's aversion to it, but hopefully something will work out for you! I know we're still looking into other file hosting sites we know to be secure and finding out what free options there are, so hopefully one that works for you will pop up.
@54368 - Hopefully someone will help you sooner, but we're working on knowledgebase articles explaining how to use the file sharing sites we feel are secure enough to recommend =)

Curious as well as others as to the pet search thing, can it not be defaulted to work at least through the aywapedia again temporarily?
Besides selling pets, it's making it impossible to find pets as well or gauge prices to try and buy them via the forums.

I'm afraid any reintegration of a pet search would cause site-wide lags and server errors at this time. We do understand it's a massive inconvenience, but every time the search causes an internal server error it not only interrupts everyone's game play, it stops staff being able to update contents, features and severely impedes progress in coding endeavours. We are doing our best to find a solution to this to bring it back, but it's not going to be an overnight fix, sorry.

Sorry to ask here but I am unsure where to ask but Will the Pet search Ever be turned back on?? I really want the new shop pets ^_^ but it clocks in a 6mil+ job.. And Most newer peoples who lack artist talents Main income of Bp is selling pets & items. Again sorry to ask ^_^
