National Novel Writing Month is upon us!
(D: And my apologies for the delay on rolling out the forum parchment, we wanted to make sure you guys had private forums again this year.)
If you're unfamiliar, NaNoWriMo is a project that challenges you to write a 50,000-word novel within the 30 days of the month! I know many of you have been hard at work burning up those keys to make your goals, and we'd like to invite you to post your work here on Aywas for some appropriately themed prizes. c:

Post your stories here! This is publicly visible.
Private NaNo Logs 2013
If you don't want your work visible to the public, please utilize the private forum instead.
Only you and staff will be able to see your threads, and we will happily remove them from the site upon request after the month is over and prizes have been handed out.
Whether you use the public space or private area, you must follow the NaNo instructions!
We have also created a new FAQ thread for any questions that you run into.
And, of course, there are prizes!
(They stack, so the more you write, the more goodies you accumulate.)
Prize Tiers:
1,000 - participation item.
5,000 - pet item.
10,000 - HA set.
25,000 - Defense items.
50,000 - Forum title, exclusive fauna and a powerful weapon!
I'm not telling you exactly what each item will be specifically, but those are pretty good hints.
Since I don't have time to participate in NaNo myself, you have to let me create suspense somehow!

I vote that since this is a little late, that instead of doing the "30 days of the month" we do just "30 days" I think this would be more fair all around ^.^

Finally, I have been waiting for this, maybe this will give me incentive to get myself to writing and catching up with where I should have been by now. (4K words per a day to catch up?)

There are lots of people who have joined up with the official NaNoWriMo site to work on this, so this is not really an aywas event this is aywas trying to help encourage us to finish our novels

Wish I could write. Would love to try and get some of the prizes, but I'm a terrible writer. XD I'd never be able to manage 50,000 words of anything remotely worth looking at.
