Beta Work!

New Feature

Our beta testers have given us a good amount of feedback. We're ready to work on that, so we've disabled the new custom adventure feature for now.

If you were not invited into the beta through a PM from me, you were not allowed to use the feature. We have noticed that a handful of people went and used the feature anyway despite not being authorized.

All of the pets collected by non-authorized betas were not meant to exist, and absolutely may not be sold, given away, or anything other than deleting these pets. Please be sure to release all of them. Thank you for understanding!

If you bought one of these pets from another user, please politely request a refund from that user. If problems arise, please bring it to a moderator's attention.

And again... admins and mods knew the huge amount of catched pets during these days, why didn't they stop us a little earlier?? If I know that something is happening I'd put up a message "ATTENTION GUYS, STOP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING", not after everything is already done "ok, you did something I never told was not allowed, now you have to trash away everything".

Bionda I personal think there giving us a slap on the hand and it like "You guys should know better!" moment type of thing sadly to say.

How many time was that happening? I've discovered it yesterday, and checked out of curiosity and also because well, lots of people had the pets, so impossible to figure it wasn't allowed. I guess I'd have checked more if I was one of the first people XD - but yeah, for the people who said to double check or something - usually, even if a feature is accessible but still in testing, we have news, like for the seasonal shop, when mods and admins tell that we shouldn't buy things right now or something
As I told before, I don't care since I almost didn't spend money on that, but this is quite unfair for people who spent GPs, yeah... Well, I hope this will get any kind of solution soon

Thanks for letting us know that it was not allowed.

I with what so many others have posted I don't always see the news post and yet when I followed a link and it took me to a new area I never thought it wasn't allowed. I spent a good amount of BP on accessing these areas as well as nets to catch the pets. Now not only am I out the BP that I spent I'm also out the pets that I caught. This is really getting ridiculous like several others have said if we aren't allowed to access somewhere don't give us access or let the new pets show up in the welcome back page with links taking us right to the area we aren't supposed to access. Like Bionda said I nice message early on saying something like "HEY GUYS STOP ACCESSING THE CUSTOM ADVENTURE AREA" would've been nice but no you guys let it go on and then after we spent our GP/BP you then announce that what we did was wrong and have to give up the pets we legitimately caught. Cause I'm now out a few mil in BP (which doesn't come easy for me since I don't have a lot of time to adv), the pets (some dups for myself as I really like them) I caught and the ones I spent the extra BP on to catch for friend. Yet the people that created the area got their share of the BP you got your share (hence more BP out of the system) and I am left with nothing. Which overall seems highly unfair, that's like showing kids were there is candy and when they eat it you punish them for doing so and then make them pay for candy that they ate plus all the candy that was left that they didn't eat.

OK can I ask what the beta actually was. I've caught loads of pets from the events with nets, but have no idea what anyone is talking about here.

My question is why wasn't it disabled for non-beta testers..?

Yeah I spent quite a bit of my BP to get into the area plus buy nets to be able to capture the pets. I had no idea we weren't allowed in. I suggest having the area locked to non-beta participants in the future to avoid confusion and problems like these.

OK I bought one yesterday because I thought it was a custom mistakenly since they were in the custom sort for looking in shops. However I don't remember where I got it so if you sold one for 650Kbp I believe. Then I have it for return.
#42928 is the # of the pet.

Is it alright to just keep them? The staff didn't say no catching and the admin must have known as soon as people were catching them in bulk that something was up. I just wanna keep the ones I caught and not be blamed because the staff didn't put a 'do not catch' on the pets. I'm not in the wrong, how was I meant to know? - L
