I still dont understand how you can be abused by sending gifts. If it was messages or if you could attach notes then i would understand.

@49838
Someone was repeatedly anonymously sending another user an item that triggered them on purpose.

I love harassing people with anonymous gifts... why should I have to take credit? lol

Not that I dont get the fact that some people may abuse the system... but I am less likely to send out random gifts if I keep finding they are blocked and I am forced to take credit for it. lol

I haven't had any experience with gift abuse, but I'd imagine being able to spam someone with an exorbitant amount of useless or potentially ill~spirited items (i.e. the 'crap' items) could be considered such. Anyhoo, I say kudos for giving players a way to avoid the problem without taking the option away completely. :)

This is a great addition due to recent harassing events to other folks! Thank you staff for addressing this issue! <3 Now those poor folk won't have to worry about being sent trigger items anymore. People can be so rude when they're anonymous.

Some users abuse anonymity features, unfortunately. We generally like to give the users to opt in and out of things across a lot of site settings, too, so this gives people a little more control over what's coming into their account. - Eri
