Search Options ►Scav Results - Delay
Site Update
Due to some reports coming in, the earlier Scavenger Hunt results are now considered tentative. Two admins are going to be going through the top thirteen teams to investigate the reports sent to us.
As soon as we have results (whether the same or altered) we'll let you know. In the meantime, the prize shop will be delayed as we investigate.
Thank you for your patience!

But wouldn't you rather know that the teams competed honestly, and know they won fair and square. And while I'm not sure what sort of reports went in, it is still something to look into.
It's not someone acting like a child, if they are concerned about something of that nature. They took it to the mods, for a second opinion, and it's getting cleared up.

Whatever is occuring, I do hope it is settled. :) As said before, I prefer the results to be completely honest and slowed rather inaccurate and quick.

Well, good luck to the mods! Hopefully everything gets cleared up and scav goes more smoothly next year...

Yes one team cheated, from what I gather. Yes. They placed. Yes, the admin knew and still let them place. So I'm hoping that this is to resolve that. Additionally there were cases of judges adding invisible rules to some tasks and some favoritism to boot. This is why I don't and never will participate in Scav.
I'm very glad that the admin is taking a more professional stance on this though. Or at least I hope they are.

This just makes me really sad...I guess I must be really naive...And this was the first year I could ((and did)) participate. Though no offence I have no proof one way or the other with this, either way this makes me sad...-_-'

Yep =/ *hugs* At least I couldn't participate even if I wanted to. I ended up going on a Vacay.

If they cheat they need to be DQ'd entirely. *huff* Shame on anyone who lets cheaters slide in this event.

We'll just have to wait and see how this all pans out, and if cheating is the case. Personally said users should never be allowed to take part in scav again.

If they did cheat I am of the mind that they should be DQ. That was what they did in the past. This has actually happened before, in the first Scavenger hunt. There was a team that plagiarized their 50k story, and they were, in fact, DQ'd.
I am not entirely sure what to make of the people that are complaining about the judges going back through things. How can you even think that cheating is something that is fine, or the people doing it should prosper. Kind of wrong headed, but whatever.

And the people that are under the top 13 need to wait also?
