The old NPCs were only meant to be placeholders... Claude implies he is taking over cooking. Miska could potentially take over the pet shop. Personally I really like the new NPCs because they actually feel connected to the world I can honestly say I won't miss the old NPCs. (They are fine on their own, but they just ...didn't fit.) But I like that there are girls, and maybe we'll get NPCs that don't hate their job.

Definitely loving the new npcs and updated art! It's likely because I'm a newer member, but I won't miss the older NPCs if they're phased out completely.
I guess I'm not overly worried as some are about the site becoming overly cutesy, since this art will probably just replace the old chibi art already present? I can't wait to see what the new shop art will look like. *_*

Beautiful art once again, but I echo the comments about wanting to keep the old characters. I'd really hate to see this site get extremely cutesy/chibized >< I could play neopets again if I wanted that.
No offense to artists/creators they're great, just hope we can keep the old npcs to ;-;
