Yoo hoo! *waves hanky* It's me again with another special delivery!

Did you know that today is Book Lover's Day? No? Well, neither did I until Shaylmesse (#13314) brought it to my attention-- and I'm blushing to have to admit my ignorance, because there are few greater pleasures than curling up with a good book! If you're like me and would just love to have your own little personal library, why don't you try Shaylmesse's gift on for size?

The Book Lover's Background is available in the Advent Calendar for the duration of today and tomorrow, up until August 10th, 11:59pm.

Ooh, but wait! There's more!

Tell me your favourite book (and why!) in the comments and you could be in with a chance of winning this set of custom crystals! I'm in need of some good new holiday reads and I'm sure I can't be the only one. :3 Chime in by August 10th, 11:59pm to ensure your spot in the draw (one entry per account, please).

Ooh, but wait! There's even more!!!

Do you remember I mentioned earlier in the week that I was having a tidy of my inbox? The invitation (and encouragement!) to nudge your outstanding Artist Pay is still open, but today I am asking you to bump up PMs pertaining to Lunarii switches. That means if you picked up the wrong Lunaris for the month and you're still waiting on me to swap 'em around for you, point yourself to my inbox sharpish!

Phew! Okay! That's everything - probably! Who knows! Yay! Exclamation marks!

Thank you for the background, Shaylmesse!

Just smell those new pages!

Im not really sure I have a favorite... but I do suggest the Witch & Wizard series by James Patterson because even though they are teen and "easy to read" I have found that he is perhaps one of the best writers. He doesnt fail in keeping a person interested. Or... the NightShade by Andrea Cremer. She is alsoone of those writers that leaves me not wanting to put the book down until the very end. I suggest her if you enjoy adventure, wolves and a little drama and romance. :)

1. Cry of the Icemark, by Stuart Hill. Talking giant snowleopards, werewolves, warlocks, and a war resembling that of of the Roman Empire.
2. Tiger's Curse, by Colleen Houck. 2 Indian princes become tigers, and must be saved by an average college girl over a century later with the help of Durga.

The Ingo series by Helen Dunmore is a very good fantasy series and perhaps Battle Royale too :3. (Sorry of either of these were mentioned).

Oh man. My favorite book? Probably Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. It's hysterical, it's got a great plot, engaging characters. It's my go-to book if I'm ever feeling down or if I just need a good laugh. Jones does an excellent job of building a world and putting the characters in, and the characters are all a lot of fun. I always enjoy my romps through any of her books, but Howl's Moving Castle is just my all-time favorite. It's such a great read.

I tend not to have "favorites" per say, but one (series) I recently quite enjoyed was the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain. Ancient evils and a merchant's daughter turned magic courrier (kind of), also I'm a sucker for epics, castles and horses. XD

My favorite book would have to be Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. The book is about Meggie, a teenage girl whose father has a strange power to be able to read anything into or out of books. A long time ago he accidentally read an evil king out of a book. Now he's returned and only Meggies can stop him. I just love this book because of all the fantasy in the novel and the mystery <3

My absolute favorite book. I could read it a million times and I listen to it on tape, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Sirius Black is my favorite character and I cry over and over when he dies in book five.

So I love that book (Prisoner of Azkaban), there is so much hope for Harry, at the end and sometimes I cry when hearing the end but it's awesome. There is this sense of family being created not being defined by genetics that I totally get. So yeah overly sentimental about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

My favorite book series is The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. There's a total of like 13 books I think...I'm only on book 7, but they're amazing!!!

I know they're not adult-level books, but I really love Gregor The Overlander and the rest of the series, because it's just so cool and I love throwing myself into the series ; u; --Yuuki.
