Welcome to the Cupcake Carnival!
A delicious fair has come to the world of Ay and Ara with the magic of a Slashbot and sprinkles of love from Loverly & Tenchi555 (#426).
Please stop by the Advent Calendar tomorrow (July 8th) to pick up your souvenir Carnival Snowglobe in honor of the carnival's kickoff!
Your goal is to collect as many Cupcake Tokens as you can while the carnies are in town!
These tokens are account-bound points that you will encounter in random piles of 1-10 in all Adventure regions.
These tokens will be used to purchase some fun fair goodies in the Seasonal Shop. The shop isn't open just yet, but in the meantime you can use it to see how many Cupcake Token points you have accumulated. :3
It appears that some cupcake ingredients have spilled out on the carnival trail!
You will run into gourmet cooking ingredients, collectables, and some hunger/energy foods in the Bridge, Seaside, East River and West River. The gourmet recipes are going through some last minute tweaks in the kitchen, so we will let you know when you can put your cooking skills to the test!
The three items above (Rainbow Sprinkles, Frosted Corndog Muffins, and Dead Fish in a Bag) are the only ones you will encounter that are not ingredients for a gourmet recipe.
It looks like the Cupcake Carnival has attracted some fair-loving pets, too!
There are 8 pets to find in each of the following areas for a total of 32: Bridge, Seaside, East River and West River.
The Cupcake Tokens, items and Adventure pets will be available through July 14th at 11:59 p.m.
(We will be watching item drops to see if any adjustments need to be made.)
Stay tuned for information on the Seasonal Shop, along with a few raffles and hidden surprises!
Let the Cupcake Carnival festivities begin!

For anyone doubting the existence of the pets, I have now caught all but the 3 legendaries, (shop now, please - just kidding! XD ) so they are there! And, I'm not sure if it has been actually working or if I'm just lucky, but I have equipped a Leaf Whistle, if that helps. They are also quite expensive though...

I was wondering if the cooking ingredients are found equally in the designate locations or are certain ones found in certain areas?

I haven't found any of the pets in the bridge, and had to nip for the ones in the east river. Don't have west river or seaside open yet, thankfully I have friends who are wonderful enough to catch them for me. :

Wow, I really can't wait to see what HA items are gonna be in the shop and stuff. I love the pets though I haven't caught any yet. And I can't wait for that premium item because it'll probably be awesome.

I'm just now able to Adventure and am not able to pick up tokens (they "fade"); is this still an issue?

This event seems like it will be fun, but I have been adventuring so long and gotten like no pets. I just can't seem to find them! I would get a pet flute but for a while now they have been really overpriced in user shops.
