Scavenger Hunt Date

Site Update

July 26 - August 2

You can start creating teams here and discuss the game on this forum.

Some FAQ:

What is Scavenger Hunt?
This is a game where you team up with nine other people (ten people per team) to complete as many tasks on the official game list as you can during the week that it's running.

What kind of tasks are there?
Generally they fall into the following categories: artwork, writing, crafts, onsite, misc.

How many people per team?
Ten. This includes lair partners. Each person counts as one slot. If a lair partner isn't playing, they need to move into another person's account during the game for fairness, otherwise they count as a person for that team.

When will the prize structure be released?
July 19

Does the team /have/ to have 10 people?

@14083
In all previous years, it was fine to have less people, as long as it's not more than 10 :) There's been some one-man teams too. Just realize that you will be judged as full team for placing and possible prizes, so if you are alone or with a small group you will have to do a lot more.

Approximately how much work is it to be a judge?
Can you be a judge for one or two tasks within a category, or will it be for the entire category overall?

I would assume it would be a lot of work to be a judge. They would need probably 1 person per task, and depending on how many teams, you'd have that many tasks to grade.

I hope I can make judge. I like being part of Scav, but I won't be able to give my team 100% this year due to being on vacation at the start of Scav.
