There are a lot of updates for the unbreedable custom makers.
The Shattered Custom items have all been renamed to Crystal Crumbs and given some new, shiny art! The cracked orbs also have some pretty new artwork (refresh if you don't see it).
After some consideration we have decided to drastically lower the prices for the unbreedable items to give users who don't need to breed their pets a way to enjoy custom artwork on the site at a much lower rate.
Here are the new prices for these items: 8 GP for Silver Crystal Crumbs, 3 GP for Gold, and 1 GP for Blue. Cracked Orbs are 100k BP for Blue and 500k for Gold.
These box items have been introduced to the GP Shop and open into a random 1 - 5 of their respective crystal crumbs.
We hope that the lowered prices will allow everyone to enjoy custom artwork on Aywas, especially if you don't necessarily need your pet to be breedable. However, as may be expected, there are two new rules for unbreedable Silver customs: they no longer come with free artwork from the SCC team, and they can only be made "breedable" with a Breedable Potion if they would have been Silver Potion acceptable.

awww man I just spent tons of gp on shattered silver crystals so I can get a site artist to draw them what a waste ;_;

@531 - there are plenty of "unofficial" artists onsite able to do silver art...and nothing (that I know of) says you can't ask one of the official ones to accept a private commission for you if you can negotiate something fair...I scooped up a SGC myself for an upcoming Lucky Dip event, though now that they are lower in price I may use it as a regular prize.

(one other thing - I'm a bit confused. Silver species become potion-acceptable after they have been bred, yes? How can we determine now if they are eligible to be made breedable?)

@30385 problem is I already spent a lot on them I don't want to spend more for the art since when I bought them it was stated I would be able to send it in to Eri for free art so that's why I bought them. Also many of the artists I like don't accept private commissions unless it's for paintbrushes

Wait, we can't buy the cracked crystals from the BP shop anymore? The lowering for the Silver Crumbs is nice, definitely, but I was so happy before that you could make Ay customs with BP, I can't afford breeding items most time anyway so being unbreedable didn't bother me. Oh well, never did care for most Ay genuses anyway.
