The Steampunk Festival has arrived!

In a celebration to help usher in summer, all things Steampunk have overtaken the Bridge!
Your goal is to collect as many Gears as you can!
Gears are account-bound points that are only found at the Bridge; you will run into random piles of between 1 and 10.
There are also a few collectables for you to try and snag!
These 6 collectables are nice trinkets to keep as souvenirs, but you can also turn in one of each to create...
A Mini Steam Beast fauna at the Museum!
There are also 16 new Steampunk-themed pets for you to capture at the Bridge!
Want a sneak peek at what will be available in the shop?
You and your pets will be able to dine on Steampunk-inspired delicacies!
And parade around in Victorian-era, airship clothing!
If you are able to collect enough Gears for some Steam Beast Blueprints, you will be able to create a Steam Beast SCC with up to 30% edits! Steam Beast Blueprints will have limited-time power, but after their power fades, you will be able to create one of these SCCs via Silver Potion with Yuki's permission.

You can keep track of how many Gears you have by checking out the Event Shop. This shop will be opening some time on Tuesday June 4th and will remain open for a week. The Gears will be available through June 8th at 11:59 p.m., so there's a bit of overlap to hopefully make planning your Adventure time a little easier!
Make sure to swing by the Advent Calendar tomorrow (June 2) to pick up your complimentary Steampunk Theme item, which will unlock a site theme using the image at the start of this news post. :3

The bridge has an insane amount of pets anyway, so add the steampunk pets and leaving random is gonna be hard for some. Why didn't the make a new area or reuse downtown?

I have all the things in the collection to get the fauna but it keeps telling me "you do not have all the items needed in the collection" i check back 5 times in my inventory to make sure there are they and they are but i go submit it again and they tell me i'm still missing something. Can someone help?

What does it mean when it says this?: Your attempt to capture the pet was foiled the Ay police. Click here to review your charges. Am i banned from catching pets forever or something?

noosa: it means you poached, and you have to pay the fine that corresponds with your capture license, or it will take a day to get adventure back.

Have, to say, I love the event <3 Got most of the pets with Aynip *cough* and may have poached several times *coughcough*, but the Melo, Vyne, Phanto, and Gael are proving quite difficult to catch, simply because there are so darn many pets on the bridge.
