By an overwhelming majority, Annie was judged to be guilty. The oakl was still with shock, but as court security came to collect her, she bolted upright, and started yelling protests.
"No, I didn't do it!"
"I said exactly what you told me to say! You said we'd go free!"
But whoever she was talking to did not answer. Lester and Putman simply watched as the girl was removed from the town hall. The townspeople broke out in murmurs. Clearly there was more to this case than they had thought.
"I think I know how to get to the bottom of this..." Lester muttered to himself. Little did he know, the ears of the Mother Hound were nearby...
Lester marched out the front doors of town hall, and headed south towards downtown alone. All the suspects had grown up in the orphanage, and it was there where he would find the answers to his questions...

Not guilty of the overall crime spree, definitely. Thing is, there was barely enough hard eveidence to ARREST, much less try/convict - and since when is one member of a gang singled out to take responsibility for the group? When questioning them separately was not productive, they decided to see if a mock trial would flush out some useful information...and it did, but not enough. The question now is who exactly is "Mother Hound"? The orphange director? The leader of the Apocalypse Hounds? (which the jacks, by the way, aren't - they're all regular species : delinquent, perhaps, but not Apo)
