Poll time!
How many of you would like explore pets to retire from their areas after a certain amount of time (available only through Truly Random Eggs, Glittering Rocks, and so forth)?
The benefit to this would be making it easier to locate new pets in the explore regions, of course, if the older ones get retired on a schedule! As well as older colorations should become more valuable.

I don't think majority in this instance is actually 50% it's more like over 20% if each group would get equal votes.
That said, I voted 6 months, if the rarity doesn't change in TGR, RE/TRE, potions, and terrariums. I do like the idea of a small glittering rock or upping the tgr to cover through *retired* LR/HR, but not while they are in adventure. That way aynip and nets also don't loose their value.

Okay so there are items that you can still get them out of but consider this: About a year or so ago Explore was closed and only a few Adventure areas were available, and I remember the pets from the explore-only regions going for insane amounts, almost as much as some AD pets, and they were still available through RE/TRE/Rocks/Tents/Whatever then too. The chances of you getting the ones you need are so slim, especially since they keep adding more new ones constantly. Plus you're all already talking about how it would increase the prices of the few items like eggs that you could get them out of, which means more taking advantage of new players. Perhaps new potions that are available at a set base price in a store (kind of like the new pet charms) would make it less expensive to acquire the retired pets? Or maybe give out a nest in the newbie packs? Or make energy in explore not so hard to get at the Bridge so newb pets aren't exhausted after only like 15 steps (yes yes I know there's food items but that's just adding to the increased amount of BP needed.) I can see why it's inevitable, certainly, but I can't see how it wouldn't change game play drastically and not necessarily in a positive way.

Personally, I never have issues getting missing pets in explore. If anything, Aywas has made it easier to catch and find pets since I first joined in 2009.

As a relatively new user, I am very happy that I can get older pets, but a year seems reasonable for me. Especially since the art seems to have gotten way better in my opinion, might be better to raise the value of older pets in some way. Rarity would certainly do that.

It would be much more exiting to collect pets if they would retire after a while. I voted 3 months, because 6 months seems long to me. One year is definitely too long.
I think them keeping their rarity would be the best thing to do..

"I would be interested to see pets cycled through given the seasons or something.."
It would be quite amazing if pets in adventure would depend on what season it is in "ay/ara" currently.

How is the price rising on TRE and RE's in any way taking advantage of new players? They are crazy easy to get by adventuring. If anything, it would help the new players beause they could sell them off if they wanted to.

Are we talking retired as in no longer available through the alternative methods, or retired as in utterly unavailable other than buying already captured ones? Because the former is going to put the older players at a definite advantage, but is doable, whereas the new one makes it a tremendous disadvantage.
But then I'm not a big fan of the retired as in unavailable thing with the pet shop right now, either.

If this were done, I would MUCH prefer that they stay the same rarity and just be taken out of explore.
