Oii ;-; negative nancy time! If it's only really on the forums, and only really text, then... what's the point? If people are already on the forums, and looking to buy something, they're probably heading to the classifieds anyways no? (Sorrrryy D: -flails-)

I don't think ads are for people who are seeking to buy something. I think ads are targeted at people who aren't planning on buying anything, so that they end up doing it anyway, or else what would be the point of going through all that extra trouble? :P

To give an example:
If a person goes to the classifieds seeking a random egg, they're going to ignore the ad at the top selling cheap breeding coins, because they're on a mission for something completely different. However, if a person is just bored browsing the forums, and sees an ad for a breeding coin, they could think, "Hey I'm bored, I want to breed my pets." And they would be more likely to buy it.

I think its a good idea, as long as they don't take up too much space ^.^ Its a nice way for members to find other sites to play on, ASWELL as aywas :3

I love this idea. 1. Because it can help make sure Aywas doesn't die, and 2. Because it's the cutest! I wanna make an ad campaign that's like... Trying to convince people to visit Shoe instead of Kaz for their pokes. "Shoe loves you, Whatsyerface! Why don't you RECONNECT?"

I wouldn't mind seeing something at the top of the forums page. Just one line that is clickable if it catches your eye.
Like small scrolling one-line banner that rolls to the next "ad" every 3 to 5 seconds.
But I would not really want to see anything on each side (Left & Right) of the site blinking and obnoxious.
