We have opened collections for the Seaside and Grasslands.
If you complete the Seaside collection, you will be rewarded with a Starfish Shield.
It has a 20% toughness bonus as well as a 20% resistance to both burn and water. Should come in handy!
Completing the Grasslands collection will yield a Pinwheel.
This is an equippable item that increases the chance that a wild pet will come home with you after playing with your explorer! It does not break.
I hear these items even work on the likes of hounds...

I have gone to the museum to complete the collections but its not accepting my items.

My poor pet is still lvl11... so basically the only way to get more XP is losing battles. =3
