Happy Earth Day!

If you've heard of a little place called Earth, you probably know that today is Earth Day!

Earth Day is a global movement now largely organized by the Earth Day Network to foster appreciation and awareness around the place we all call home. In honor of the planet's big day, Aywas is reaching out from the land of Ay and Ara to inspire some action in our own neck of the woods!

Turn in your old items for shiny Trash Points to exchange for our brand new set of Trash for Treasure pets!
This set of 9 pets is a permanent addition to the shop as their theme fits in quite well with the atmosphere. ;)

However, we also have some limited-time goodies!

6 Earth Day-themed pets (including the Welly and this Phanto) have been released into Adventure! To see the six pets and their locations, go to the Aywapedia and sort by newest. All the Earth Day pets are on pages 1-2.

5 pieces of a leaf-inspired HA collection have been added to the BP Shop. To see the style of the items, here is a preview of the Leaf Cloak and Leaf Dress:

The Adventure pets and Leaf HA items will be available through the end of April (April 30th at 11:59 p.m.).

For some IRL Earth Day fun, I put together a few links that celebrate our world and/or help to keep it healthy!

Google Earth. Can't travel? Explore the world from the comfort of your home!

National Geographic. Breathtaking images and a wealth of information.

iRecycle. This app is for iOS and Android and is a really great recycling tool. It breaks down materials into categories (you can recycle that?!) that you can narrow down to specific items and then locates the nearest facility that can recycle it for you. Pretty cool!
