Inbox Expansion!

Site Update

Did you notice anything different about your Inbox today?

That's right--we now have search functionality for inboxes!
Whether you have 5 conversations or 5000, I think our new options will be quite helpful. :3
This has been a persistent suggestion over the years and I am very excited that Nova was able to make it happen!

Okay, let's go over the details of our revamped inboxes:

- You can now search by User ID, subject keyword, or flagged messages.

... Flagged messages?!

- Yes! We now have the option to "star" or "flag" a message!

When you click into a conversation, you will now see an option to flag the message. Flagging a message can only be seen by you as it is a personal organization option. When you flag a message, this will appear:

As you can see, the message has been marked with a blue star, and you also have the option to remove it with the "unflag" link. In the default view, you can see the star here:

Flagging is useful for marking something as important, as something you need to respond to, etc.

- Deleting messages now brings up a confirmation pop-up. Phew!

- You can now also edit folder names.

These inbox updates should hopefully make your messaging life much easier!
From a staff point of view, this is going to be a huge asset, but I know it'll assist everyone in normal gameplay as well.

Nova and I will be keeping an eye out for suggestions and any potential problems, so we'd love to hear your feedback. :3

Enjoy!

This might just me being a major derp but this search function does only seem to search within the folder I am currently in, which makes it...sort of useless, I could just use my browser search in that case. Is there any way of having it search in all folders at once?

I may be late to the thanks party, but thanks. A lot. New functionality is the best thing ever.
