As we move toward the winter season, I'll briefly touch down on a few of the festivities that will be coming (aside from Aywas v2!).
These will be floating around every 15 minutes. They're like pumpkins - claim them to spend in the Seasonal Shop when it opens a week before Xmas!
this is the "rare" gift bag. You might find them floating around the site, or in the Advent Calender (don't forget to go every day of December!)
This is the "Super rare" gift bag. Methinks it has something to do with asking Santa for what you want.
Mini-Present! You'll find these in the advent calender a lot. They'll give you a random Christmas item.
You won't get to see which items you get until the presents activate on Dec 25, though!
The Bigger Xmas Feature
Claim Ticket.
You will be living there all of December. Every hour starting 12 AM December 1 through 11 PM December 24, you can go to that page and claim a ticket.
On December 25 (or sometime after, not too long though) a couple of tickets will be pulled from the pile and prizes will be awarded. Such prizes include:
Nice Prizes: Lesser Breeding Coins, Breeding Coins, Glittering Rocks, Custom Crystals, Pure GP, Custom Art (art events)

That's all great, but didn't we learn from the pumpkin issues that there is way too much lag for this delivery system to be practical. The site lags every 15 minutes because everyone goes nuts refreshing for that elusive candy cane.
Set up an exchange for them or have some outrageous trash point cost for them, but at least give everyone a shot to participate in the event. My wife couldn't get even 1 pumpkin the whole time the event ran because her comp was too slow to keep up. Gotta consider those with slower pc's as well as those with super computers.

And I kind of agree with Doragon up there, the every 15 minute thing sucked for me, too. I have good cable internet, and I was only able to catch maybe 4? Granted, I don't stalk the site like a lot of other people, but even in the dead night (for me at around 3 in the morning) the site lagged on that 15 minute mark and I wasn't able to get many.

I don't think fast connection really makes that much of a difference. I have a super fast Alienware comp with fast cable at home and I still can't catch em! I did catch one.. and that was on my super slow 8 year old computer at work with slow DSL.
Keep trying guys and don't give up.

OMGosh - this is THE BEST! I have only 8 tickets so far, but work all day and have 2 kids at home so am actually proud of that - plus i am new here. LOL

well I am tired of fighting the lag so I'll just wait and buy the candy canes from the seasonal shop when it reopens. The lag is rediculous. I have hit the thing 3 times today with the clock reading xx:xx:00 exactly when it should give the prize, but then it takes about 10 seconds to reload the page and guess what happens...
I thing I'll save myself the frustration and just go about the dailies. Nice event too bad it couldn't work better.
