It's time to reveal what the 3 Boxes item does!
This item's magic will be activated on the 25th and can be used any time after the big day!
When you go to use the item, you will be prompted to put in 3 different User IDs (you cannot enter your own). Upon hitting submit, the item will randomly select one of those three players to receive a Candy Cane Custom Crystal and a Candy Cane Custom Orb!
Speaking of our favorite holiday custom makers, they will be available on Saturday, December 22 for a full 24 hours. They will go in at approximately 11:59 p.m. on the 21st and leave at 11:59 p.m. on the 22nd.
Holiday Tree Tip: When gifting an item, BP or GP, make sure you always select an item and specify a quantity of 1 or greater. You wouldn't wrap up money in a box and give it to someone, would you?!
If you forget to enter in a quantity, we've fixed it so that you don't get that syntax error on the final page. Now you'll get a red alert saying "No quantity selected." before you can even move onto the confirmation screen. :3

I rather like the idea of it giving a set to ME, AND a set to the random person. Can't fathom the reasoning behind this item. :-s Anywho.

the item being 3 boxes doesn't make much sense in that context considering 3 people don't actually get anything and the person that does get something doesn't get 3 things!

I'm not so unhappy about not actually getting anything out of the item yourself, but I do wish that you could just use the item to send the items to a specific user or that all three would receive them? I'd rather just get some extra CCCC/CCCO and give them to my friends individually knowing who I was actually sending it to, you know?

I admit, I'm a bit disappointed with the 3 Boxes item as well. I spent what is, to me, quite a bit of money upgrading to premium, and I feel a bit... ripped off, I suppose. I was very excited about my first ever monthly item and couldn't wait to see what I got. I waited half a month to find out I didn't actually get anything. And since I paid real money essentially just so I could get the monthly item and the unlimited dumping, I do feel a bit cheated.
I also really don't like the set-up of the item itself. I understand all three can't get a custom-making item, since you don't want to glut the market on those, but then why did you make it a custom-making item in the first place? You could have made it a one-month upgrade instead, or one of the new random potions, a few Candy Canes, or even a special clothing item.
And before anyone jumps on me for complaining, any site that's been around as long as Aywas has only lasted because they welcome the feedback of their users, both positive and negative. It's ridiculous to try and silence negative opinions on a feature. The staff needs to know if people are dissatisfied with something on the site and why. Only more so in this case, because the only people affected are those who pay real money: in other words, the people who make it possible for the site to exist at all.
