Seasonal Shop Reminder

Site Update

magic_magiccustomtrove.png

If you stalk the Welcome Back page, you probably noticed that quite a few new pets and items have appeared. And if you don't, well, now you're aware. XD

I am playing around with things for the Ay vs. Ara prizeshop--things that may or may not start appearing in the Seasonal Shop shortly.

Do NOT purchase anything from the shop until I officially announce that it's open.
If you buy something before this announcement, you are doing so at your own risk, and I will not refund items/pets/points if you regret a purchase. All items and pets are subject to price and function changes prior to the shop's official release.

We have a lot of new players and returning old players, so I wanted to make sure that this policy was clear beforehand. Thanks! :3

EDIT: So apparently I'm going to be a huge tease. 8D We need to finish up one of the items planned for release, so we're aiming to open the shop on the evening of the 24th. STARE AND DROOL IN THE MEANTIME. <3 No touchy. |:

And be sure to check out Skitty's informative crystal thread update below!

Same here Pheobe. Or I'll be needing to horde BP.

I'm with Pheobe on this one. I told myself I wouldn't comment here, but these prices are way too high. Lots of people bemoaning that on Tumblr, most of whom are too scared to post on the newspost because people get all up in arms over the tiniest complaint.

I love so many of the items already shown and I really can't afford much at all. I worked 10-hour shifts both days the event was active, and I know I wasn't the only one who had a similar schedule. I could see these prices if the event had gone longer, but not only was it only 2 days, there were several repeat items and therefore less of a chance to get points.

So far, I think I could live with not getting much (as long as the lockpick item ends up somewhere that isn't the Seasonal Shop or is actually affordable for me) but it just seems like a longer event or lower prices would have been better.

I thought the event was fun, but a little unfair. I've been here long enough to actually gather these things and my points still suck, but the poor newbies couldn't have gathered many points at all. So, I'm really hoping the prices decrease. I think I might be able to afford one pet and after that, I'm going to have to buy the rest I like with BP. Sure, all those people who donated over 6000 items aren't really going to complain, because they'e going to get richer off of people like me.

I'm going to go ahead and agree on the price drop thing. I've had quite a few friends who were either working or just not around during that time. Plus I do feel bad for the newbies who weren't able to donate.

Some players didn't have the areas unlocked.
