Site Update
The Custom Tokens in the Trash Shop have been given a serious price bump. I know price increases are never fun, but I think we can all agree that being able to get a pet with 75% edits for 1 GP isn't quite right.
And while I'm here, I'd like to remind everyone that glows, transparency, and clipped on accessories/clothing still count as edits, and thus are not allowed on Metals.
This pet is okay for Metal:
These pets, however, would NOT be okay:
I'd also like to make sure everyone knows that the Personal Custom Queue now allows you to cancel your own pet submissions! If you submit an image only to realize you submitted the wrong image, had a white background, coloring errors, or any other mistake, you can cancel it yourself instead of having to PM me.

I'm starting to feel like I'm one of the only people that understands that even the gold tokens should stabilize at 5-10gp .-. Which.....for the edits your getting is really a rather good deal. Work hard for a month and you could probably get a gold token if you try really hard. This is a good change, and I think even the lower custom making ones like the bronze/metals are still well within reach for new players with just a little bit of work. It kinda sounds like people are just expecting to be handed the sites most prized things *breeding and customs* for little to no work :S

Personally, I support this price hike. I mean, yeah it's annoying to have to trash so many items, but it does seem pretty reasonable all things considered. Though I do wish you went for 3x the original price or something, rather than 5x... XD;
Though honestly, the greatest thing about this price hike is all the dramatic comments you've gotten as a result. They're so much fun to read ;D

"Go to the supermarket and get toilet paper for 5 times what you pay now. Tell me then "it's only 5 times"."
If toilet paper only cost me a buck, then yeah "its only 5 times" because then it's only 5 bucks.
But no please do continue, daggles and I will just be sitting here, kicking back, and sustaining our dark need for crybaby tears off this news post alone.

You know, I find it very rude of some people to come into a news post where you are free to leave your opinion and call people 'crybabies' and tell then that their tears are something to be laughed at. That's just plain inconsiderate. Months ago when the post about the lack of community value in the site came up, this is exactly what I thought of. It's no bloody wonder people don't want to stay if their going to be insulted for having an opinion different from the players who came before the,

If that opinion is "WAH WAH I CAN'T GET EVERYTHING HANDED TO ME WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO WORK FOR THINGS THAT WERE MEANT TO BE WORKED FOR????" then yes I'm going to call you a crybaby. Keep going, this is great.

All of these little changes are going to tear the userbase apart. Not so much because people can/can't afford things, but because some users are screaming, "This sucks!" while others scream "You suck for saying it sucks!"
Can we please have some community-building exercises where complete and total cooperation is required? Scav doesn't really count, since it's a competition user-vs-user. Maybe we can have a user-vs-NPC event or something? Let's bring back some happy thoughts and clean, good-hearted spirit!

Please, everyone, continue. I feed off your tears.
