The Custom Tokens in the Trash Shop have been given a serious price bump. I know price increases are never fun, but I think we can all agree that being able to get a pet with 75% edits for 1 GP isn't quite right.
And while I'm here, I'd like to remind everyone that glows, transparency, and clipped on accessories/clothing still count as edits, and thus are not allowed on Metals.

I'd also like to make sure everyone knows that the Personal Custom Queue now allows you to cancel your own pet submissions! If you submit an image only to realize you submitted the wrong image, had a white background, coloring errors, or any other mistake, you can cancel it yourself instead of having to PM me.

I have to say all this price rearranging isn't making people happy not one bit... I understand your trying to make bp worth more vice verse a keep the peace between them but everything is becoming unbearably expensive. Its getting to the point I want to buy everything in bulk before you guys get your fingers on the price jack button.

I really don't get the complaints over "all these price hikes recently." Did I miss something other than the Fertility Potion (which be honest now, getting a third baby for less than half the cost of an LBC was too cheap). I do think, however, that the increase on the token price is excessive and should be toned down. I don't have any issue with there being an increase. Perhaps a graduated price increase such that the impact on metal, bronze and blue isn't quite so steep.

Friends, The Gold Custom Token, with 75% edits, is approaching an SCC or GCC in value. An SCC is 100 GP, and the GCC is 50 GP in the Cash Shop. The Gold token should normalize between 5 and 10 GP, per Skitty.
Economically speaking, *it's still a great deal*. It is, in effect, a month of trashing 100 R50 items per day. But you can easily speed this up! Take some of those GP you're saving by not buying a GCC or SCC, and go buy premium for the year.
If you can't buy GP, you can go get an Upgrade Talisman from the BP shop and upgrade yourself to Premium for five months. The infinite trash points will speed up your token-gathering and give you many other fringe benefits as well.
From any kind of economic viewpoint, this is still a great deal.

Requires five times the points? Maybe allow five times the dumping? Or at least, like, three times? That doesn't make it one ounce easier to acquire that many items, still making it much harder for newbies to just jump in and have customs in their first few days/etc, but greatly accelerates the process for people who have the time to grind or the stores of items built up, but not the cash and/or art talent to afford premium.
(Of course that doesn't help me at all, and personally I still like the idea of staggered price jumps more, but it might help stifle some of this depressing backlash. x3;;;
Really guys, I've been on Aywas seven months now and this is THE FIRST news post that I can remember being legitimately angry about. Like, I think there might have been one or two things before this that upset me but I can't remember anymore what they were. That's.. not really enough to stop caring about the site or make me less likely to spend money (8'3;; not that I have yet but ssh I've still thought about it) or any of that.. x3;; It sucks hard, but calm down, there's more to do around here.)

At first I thought it said 23,000 for a gold token and I was like 0.0 Thank goodness my eyes were just tricking me. xD I can see how the price bump was needed, but I can understand the concern for new users. What if we included a metal token in the Newbie Package? *hides in corner*

Do you realize it is a 400% price hike? Four HUNDRED percent. Go to the supermarket and get toilet paper for 5 times what you pay now. Tell me then "it's only 5 times".
You want to generate sinks? That isn't the where nor how, you are going to end up crashing your own economy if you keep up the current trends.
I guess those who are screaming "entitlement" are entitled to their opinions... but so is everyone else.
