Site Update
The Custom Tokens in the Trash Shop have been given a serious price bump. I know price increases are never fun, but I think we can all agree that being able to get a pet with 75% edits for 1 GP isn't quite right.
And while I'm here, I'd like to remind everyone that glows, transparency, and clipped on accessories/clothing still count as edits, and thus are not allowed on Metals.
This pet is okay for Metal:
These pets, however, would NOT be okay:
I'd also like to make sure everyone knows that the Personal Custom Queue now allows you to cancel your own pet submissions! If you submit an image only to realize you submitted the wrong image, had a white background, coloring errors, or any other mistake, you can cancel it yourself instead of having to PM me.

Wow... That's a huge bump. I'm glad I got my first custom (a corra) when they were still affordable or I would have never gotten one XD

That sucks! Do you know how many items that's gonna be for a token? Items that will likely equal far more then the coin's worth since you only get a couple points per item you trash. Everything is going up, and your taking away ways for people to make money, NOT EVERYONE IS RICH! You want people to stop hording BP, well since all the prices are going up they have no choice but to horde because that's the only way to do anything here. This site is seriously becoming a site for only people with amazing editing powers who can sell their designs for 60GPs a piece. Nothing is affordable anymore! That's not a bump Aywas, that's an nuclear explosion. I mean yeah, you can get a couple custom items on the collections but once you finish the collections then there's no way to make any other customs. I guess maybe you're tired of letting people express themselves in their pets.

"Customs shouldn't be so easy to get that people have literally no investment in making sure they're following the rules and making a decent-looking pet that they'll still like 24 hours after submitting it."
I made my first custom, a corra, about a month after joining. I still have it, even though my coloring skills have improved immensely. Still proud of the poor thing, too.
As far as not granting newbies access to 'almost silver', set your mind at rest - assuming you ONLY dumped items of HR/LR, and somehow managed to get 100 of those in a day (ha ha ha, dream on), you'd still be looking at around a week for a bronze token. More likely, a couple weeks, especially if you don't have someone give you a HL pet and you have to level up, feed your pet energy foods, etc, instead of dumping all that. And keeping all the common rarity items, since it's kind of a waste to dump them and use up precious dump slots with common junk.
Think you're pretty safe, there. Just sayin'.

If it was actually just a bump there wouldn't be so many complaints, but that is a major price boost.

If the dumping limit wasn't so low, this wouldn't be as disheartening.

Lol, and I was actually JUST thinking about trashing a ton of items and buying a gold custom token xD Well, I guess I'll go find something else to do! No way in heck I'd ever want to trash that much items! It'd take way too long! xD

All these price hikes lately are troubling. I thought the economy was a bit screwy, but it feels like a lot of the new changes are making it a bit worse. I don't know.
I was creating metal garus and selling them in my shop rather than braving the community to sell the designs. Wasn't very efficient, anyways, but not sure it'll be worth it at all anymore, now..
