Tokens + Custom Reminders

Site Update

magic_metalcustomcoin.gifmagic_bronzecustomcoin.gifmagic_bluecustomcoin.gifmagic_goldcustomcoin.gif

The Custom Tokens in the Trash Shop have been given a serious price bump. I know price increases are never fun, but I think we can all agree that being able to get a pet with 75% edits for 1 GP isn't quite right.

And while I'm here, I'd like to remind everyone that glows, transparency, and clipped on accessories/clothing still count as edits, and thus are not allowed on Metals.

This pet is okay for Metal:

These pets, however, would NOT be okay:

I'd also like to make sure everyone knows that the Personal Custom Queue now allows you to cancel your own pet submissions! If you submit an image only to realize you submitted the wrong image, had a white background, coloring errors, or any other mistake, you can cancel it yourself instead of having to PM me.

Wow... That's a huge jump... And I now feel like the 23k trash points I've saved over a few months isn't a lot anymore. Pity.

Agree with the several thousands of points not being worth as much anymore, but I completely understand this price bump c:

Really? Really....? We are talking money AGAIN when tokens are basically free? Guess what? Go to Adventure, pick up alll the free items and throw them out. Problem solved. I mean really? It's not that hard, stop complaining when they are basically free custom making items. No one makes you pay BP/GP for them WHEN YOU CAN FIND FREE ITEMS TO THROW OUT. Holy crap, entitlement much?

i wouldn't mind the price hike so much if we weren't limited to 100 items a day to toss out, when most of the items you can pick up in adventure are worth less than 5 trash points.

The price raise was 5x the original price, which means Gold Tokens should be AT MOST about 5-10 GP once the glut of them that's already sitting in the economy gets flushed out (which will likely take many months). I don't think it's that unreasonable.

Yeah, my stash of 20k points is about worthless now. Wish I had stocked up now instead of waiting for a restock that's apparently never happening. :(

The issue I have with it is similar to those I've seen expressed, the tokens were something new players could start enjoying right away. If you get new players hooked, then point them towards pricier items... like crystals... they can enjoy the entire time. Not everyone has hours upon hours to devote to clicky clicky. Again, I could see a *slight* jump, but if you go to the pump and see that your gas went from 3.50 a gal to $17.00 a gal... you are going to squirm and go home, or get a bike. Don't make me ride a bike Skitty...

I think there's been too many band aid fixes at once. can we see some discounts to combat inflation? I mean if things are just getting more expensive people are just going to be sitting on more GP/BP right? I'm not against having to work for something, but it just seems that we're making everything harder to get, and not encouraging users to buy things from the site shops.
