This is... I honestly can't believe this. I completely understand a price increase, but as much as it went up is just too far. What is all of this talk of GP anyway? Are you talking about what people are re-selling the tokens for? Well if they want to sell 'em for that much, let 'em for crying out loud! Economy needs a boost? You'll have none if you keep upping the prices of everything. I honestly don't know if I'll come back tomorrow. This is just ridiculous. Next it'll be food, so when Zave's free food isn't enough we won't be able to explore any more. We won't be able to do anything without being premium. And, for the people saying "Just get premium and keep quiet!" NOT all of us can. If I could have, I would have months ago. Also, not all of us have, nor can we get, GP easily. I still owe someone just 1 GP. 1. I have yet to get that one GP. I can't color for the life of me, so no one would buy any designs I make. Same with edits. I, for my metal customs, spend hours making, and though they look terrible, they are my creations and I love them to death. But, in all honesty, with such a steep price hike it's just not worth it anymore. "Work hard for it! You don't deserve it if you don't work for it!" I do work for it. I always have. I can't trash r100 items every time, and I can only explore for a few hours a day. But I still work hard for it.
As I said, I understand a price hike, just NOT THAT much.

However, if you were to increase the amount of items that we can trash a day for those of us non-premium people, to a MINIMUM of 200-300 items a day, it wouldn't seem QUITE as bad. Or, you could lower the prices back down a bit, at least on the metal tokens. Metals were the only ones I used anyway for my lack of editing skills and lack of BP/GP to but edited designs I liked.

Also, one last side note, it's one thing to disagree with someone. It's something entirely different to call people names like crybabies. If you want to disagree, I'm totally okay with that. But, I do KINDLY ask that you be civil about it. Bullies are the reason I left other pet sites. The bullies weren't even going after me. But I wasn't going to be a part of a site where thing like that take place.

"Entitlement"... Maybe to my own opinion. I'm just letting my opinion known. I do not believe I'm entitled to tokens or anything on this site. Just my opinions.

I am sorry for this lengthy comment, but I do fully believe in what I have written here. I want my opinion known, even if it does nothing.

Actually I have 400k BP and 0 GP on my account and have issues selling my SCC .PSD's, let alone designs. I waited 3 months for some of my cheaply priced items to sell from my shop. PROTIP: low account ID =/= rich

I won't say I'm happy about this news, but I see why it had to happen, and well...
I don't really make token customs anyways!


Just a suggestion: perhaps there could be a discount for a certain amount of time (their first month or so on aywas) for newbies so it'd be a bit easier for them to get token customs?

Just my thoughts: maybe its gotten easier to get the coins because so many people are working to finish the adventure quests to unlock new areas, so there's a lot of trashing of adventure items? Also, people with premium have unlimited spending points as a part of their deal when buying the premium time, so could the coins being obtained so quickly relate to this part of the premium feature? At any rate, customs are sort of what Aywas does, and while this also may've been done to reduce the customs queue length, I, like many others, disagree with the severity of the price hike. A price hike I understand, but such an extreme one I wonder about.

Cheapest token right now is a million BP for any with the edits half million for without edits.. I have a low level pet (was 85 and we rocked Advent then that was changed) now lv 6,used a Gold Star Charm Stayed up 20 hours almost nonstop Advent for BP, made 500k with double the BP after 20 hours .. i dont think many can spend that many hours i getting BP and if they have a low level pet its even harder.. Read in diff post it would be a at least 1500 items for the trash points.. How can a newbie get that many items to use for trash? I have only have 4k items after a year of hours of play a day playing.. i really just dont understand.. am trying to. i see some of you saying go Advent and all that but i have tried personaly,i know that it would have to take months for someone who cant log in each day for hours..

Lmao. Ianto Jones, you have NO idea how much I agree with you!!! Anyway, my two cents on this... Skitty, Congrats! You stepped up, took charge and said 'F!@# You! This needs to happen, so it's bloody well happening!' [Not quite like that, I'm severely paraphrasing. Putting it in my own words]. The point is still the same though. This was, as was already stated, a massively needed price hike. Getting a Gold custom, even if the Token pets suck [in my personal opinion] for such a low price really was a rip off to the site. It's sad when you're paying more for the design than for the custom item, it really is. As such, YAY for the price hike!

Now, that's not to say I completely agree with it. I will agree that the number of items that your average user can trash is a biiiiiiiiiiiit too low. With how many are needed, I say that it should be double, no more and no less. Going any higher, will probably just devalue the tokens again anyway.

To all those saying 'Go adventure for items to trash'. I do agree with that. You don't need a high levelled pet for it [although, it IS handy solely because of the energy count], since you do not need to battle. Hell, battles net you no items anymore, anyway. You can find a LOT of different rarity 7o+ Items, rather easily.

Also, if you don't want to increase the dump amount. How about doubling what each item is worth? Although I think that might do more harm than good, really. But at least I said it.

Too all you who are bickering, fighting, or arguing in here, shut up. The staff, or the userbase, do NOT need to hear it; and I'm willing to bet that I'm not the only one who doesn't WANT to hear it. So please, do us all a favour, and shut up.

Now, another idea is this. When a user joins, since I know a lot join and ditch the site quickly, have it that after exactly 4 weeks [or so], they gain 1 week of premium, with all the perks. No longer than 1 week. It would give them a taste of what they can have. It's a long enough time to truly get a feel for it, and it's a short enough time that it probably won't really affect much, if anything at all. Aside from making the userbase happier. If you did that, you would be more likely to have new users spending the money needed in order to get an official premium account, if I were to guess.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

I was not being a "crybaby" merely pointing out that compared to increases in other things a 400% increase is steep. I was NOT looking for a hand out, and have never been looking for such. I spend hours on here clicking. I didn't give you my life story. I think your rude comments aimed at ME were ignorance. I can always grow up since I'm such a "cry baby" but can you?

I wasn't complaining about a blanket increase in cost. I didn't say a word about the increase in prices in the GP shop (as they were NOT done by 400%) and YES I do spend my own cash to play this game. High number =/= begger.
