The Custom Tokens in the Trash Shop have been given a serious price bump. I know price increases are never fun, but I think we can all agree that being able to get a pet with 75% edits for 1 GP isn't quite right.
And while I'm here, I'd like to remind everyone that glows, transparency, and clipped on accessories/clothing still count as edits, and thus are not allowed on Metals.

I'd also like to make sure everyone knows that the Personal Custom Queue now allows you to cancel your own pet submissions! If you submit an image only to realize you submitted the wrong image, had a white background, coloring errors, or any other mistake, you can cancel it yourself instead of having to PM me.

I agree the price needed to go up, I just wish it didn't have to Quintuple all at once, it seems a bit harsh.

Let's look at perspective, shall we? Not because I actually care about token pets, because I don't - but because I really can't stand the casual rudeness and smugness coming from some of you right now...and I absolutely loathe bullies.
A person with a grocery budget of $200 might not notice if a loo roll goes from $1 to $5. But a person with a budget of $30 definitely WOULD.
*shrugs* It's easy to sit back and be a snob when you're rich - in terms of game currency and items, if nothing else - or you've been here from the beginning, hoarding. It's even easy to sit back if you've got an artistic talent and can rake in currency from selling premades and customs. But it's different if you're getting started or jumping in now.
I'm definitely sympathetic to the newcomers, because they're the ones who'll get the brunt of this. And it's kind of crappy to mock them for being upset about this. Have you forgotten how it felt to be a baffled newbie here??
Keep in mind - I don't much care for myself, considering there aren't many trash shop pets to choose from, and they're bloody tetchy to edit. I only saw an edit I liked recently, after more than a year here.
But I do feel for those whose only chance at customs are through token pets. And I'm not too impressed by the variety of people who are, more or less, laughing through their teeth - "Ha, ha, poor little sad suckers, can't get customs - " while sitting on their own hoard. Mmm. Immaturity at its best.
Re: "wah wah ad nauseum" - seriously? I think you're exhibiting classic twelve-year-old behaviour, capslock effrontery and all. Oce: people aren't saying "I want this free" - they're saying, "I saw a goal, I worked toward it, I was almost there - and found out in actuality, I'm not even a quarter of the way there!" I don't see anyone here asking for freebies.
Instead of mocking people, offer constructive advice. Like some others have. Including a metal token in the newbie package, or maybe adding metal, bronze, and blue tokens to cooking rewards. Increasing dump limits for non-premium - since, let's face it, 99% of newbies are non-premium.

It really isn't worth arguing over. The fact is that you were being rude, which was all I was pointing out. If you wanted to state an opinion I'd have no right to say anything about it, but out and out insulting the way others feel, well that's just being a class A Jerk. That's fact, not my opinion. Considering this has just become a game of you saying 'I'm right and you're wrong' over and over, I'm pretty much done here.

Actually considering the way everyone has been reacting when ANY incredibly cheap way to make customs has been upped in price or removed, I'd say they are asking for handouts.

I kind of feel like, after reading all these comments from people... That there's a huge rift between a LOT people who sell a few designs and say "Meh, that's just a little amount to my already massive pile of money" and a LOT of the people who do their best exploring and shout "HOORAY! OH MY GOODNESS! SOMEONE BOUGHT SOMETHING IN MY SHOP THAT WAS PRICED AT 100K BP! YES! FINALLY, SOME MONEY!"
Haves and Have nots, I guess? If it's easy for you to obtain something, you find it silly when people are complaining about how hard it is becoming/already is to get something, because it's EASY FOR YOU and you think that they're just not putting in enough effort, wheras if it's harder for you to obtain something, it's hard to understand why people are being so rude and calling you lazy, or why things are so hard to obtain for you.
In short... Some people have it easier, some people have it harder, but it's just plain immature when you start being rude and obnoxious, no matter what your side is...

Considering I joined this site because of the Gold Custom Tokens, this sucks. I understand why you felt it was needed, but at the same time, I guess I don't see why one custom creating item couldn't be super cheap and accessible. It's for limited species, not like it's taking away from other custom crystals.
