Because this has been inquired... no, your requested design doesn't have to be of a GCC species. It can be anything you want. Whether you happen to just want a gold level Xaoc to stare at or you want a gold level raw pet, it's up to you...

I mean if you wanted to eliminate edits to be able to upload I suppose you could. xD Just couldn't do it with the design you get, exactly as you get it.

I'm sure this has been asked, but:
I have 2 preexisting Gold Raw Crystal. I can still request a custom? or must it have been bough within the last 24 hours?
If i can still request where must the request be made? I'm still a little confused

Kyoraku, you have to purchase a GCC like the one pictured in the news post to qualify for this deal/event. Purchasing a Raw Gold Custom Crystal will not make you eligible. What Slash is saying in this New Post is that having purchased a GCC, you can request your design to be any species. It does not have to be a species that would be created by a GCC. The design will still need the appropriate custom maker in order to be uploaded/created to the site. For instance, you could request the species edited be a Lepu. You would then need to purchase a Gold Custom Orb in order to create your design when it is completed. :)

You don't have to upload a design simply because you received it. You can sell it, or simply keep it. It's yours to do with as you wish, within the limits of a custom design.
