I'm not sure I have a favourite Olympic sport honestly, but I like the look of water polo. It just looks fun. I'm supporting Australia since that's where I live. I haven't had a favourite moment from the Olympics just yet either, though Mr Bean in the Opening Ceremony was pretty funny.

ugh archery is my favorite -- i wish it wasn't coming on so early in the morning here in the US! but i've been watching the regular stuff on primetime (swimming, gymnastics, sometimes track and field). mostly rooting for underdogs, because while i'm glad the USA is doing great, the NBC news coverage telling us about the team usa athletes constantly is irritating, haha.

Rooting for Croatia and New Zealand! :D
My favourite sport must be archery, if only I had a bow and arrow I'd be training every day! xD

My favorite Olympic sport is skiing because I ski myself. Sadly, it's a winter Olympic sport so I won't get to see any now. I haven't been really rooting for anyone so far. I suppose I should be rooting for my own country but, so far, I haven't really seen my own country compete in any Olympic events. (I've been watching a bit sporadically.) In any case, so far what I've enjoyed the most is the weight lifting and the white water rafting. Something about watching those men lift those huge weights over their heads is exciting and white water rafting...well...it was rather amazing to watch the arm strength some of those woman had!

I loved the moment where the male gymnast who hit his chin on the bar at the last olympics redeemed himlsef :)

I went for voting for the Independents including doing the research on how they're allowed to do that, where they're from, and just cheering them on even though they aren't winning too many medals. Or any so far. Though, considering that there's only four of them, that kind of limits the amount they could get anyway.

But it's the reasoning for why one becomes an Independent that makes me cheer. Especially the man from South Sudan who refused to run for Sudan because he ran from them. For anyone wondering, the way that you become an independent is because your country either dissolved (like the other three Olympians) and you don't wish to run for the country that you live in now or (like the South Sudan man) your country is too new to count.

But I love an underdog and even if they don't win a thing, I'm proud of them. If anyone is wondering, they fly the Olympic flag and the Olympic theme plays if they win a gold. ^_^

I love gymnastics personally, since they don't have curling during the summer. <3 XD
