as lame as it sounds, men's diving. I was rooting for the two hot brothers from America. not so much sport as it is an exhibition.

My favorite is swimming. I am rooting for Singapore! My favorite moment would have to be when we got our first medal.

I like watching gymnastics, swimming, and beach volleyball. I'm usually subconsciously rooting for the US though I think my favorite competitor has to be Michael Phelps or Jordan Wieber. I think my favorite moments have to be basically any time they show the male swimmers because I'm not usually an abs person but hot damn how do I abs like that. I also liked watching Dallhauser and Rogers' matches.

I used to enjoy watching the ice skating, I know wrong season, and gymnastics can be awesome, but I haven't really been watching this year.

I'd have to say that I personally am rooting for all the countries teams. They all work so hard to prepare themselves and to preform for the entire world. I feel that all of the competitors regardless of if they win or loose should be admired and commended for their efforts. Also I would like to say that Gymnastics are normally one of my favored events though I haven't gotten to watch much of the Olympics this year. However I have read that Michale Phelps has done very well again this year. :)

I'm not really too into sports, but I guess my favorite might be gymnastics? And I root for everyone because so many of them are so young, and I can't even imagine how much pressure they must feel!

I'm rooting for Australia! To me the olympics has always been about the swimming but I'm giving them all a show of support this time around. I did also really enjoy the opening ceremony, almost as much as reading what everybody had to say about it on tumblr. The olympics sure is good for opening up peoples opinions. :)

Personally, I might feel a little bit of pride when an American wins, but I also just root for everyone. Watching Gabby Douglas win was great, but the face of the girl who took second when she found out she didn't score enough for gold was a bit heartbreaking :,(

I must be one of those strange few people who doesn't really root for any one country. I tend to end up hoping those competitors who look as though they're putting their heart and soul into what they're doing will win, regardless of where they're from.

I like to watch the gymnastics most! I root for the US teams. I think my favorite moment so far, though, was Katie Ledecky receiving her gold medal for the 800m. She was shaking and crying and swaying and trying to sing the national anthem. She looked like she was going to faint, but the expression on her face... :D
