I love watching the British coverage; while there's the swimming or running going on at the Olympics, all of our channels show 50 events of cycling, yachting and diving. Because apparently that's what we win medals at.
Still, I like the diving. And of course, Team GB for me. ;D

I'm not actively following the games this year, but I'm enjoying seeing the inspiring stories come out of the games. I'm particularly pleased by Oscar Pistorius and his incredible journey to be running track in the Olympics after having both of his legs amputated before he was even a year old. That takes a lot of determination and desire to succeed in the face of people who surely told him it would never happen. ~Starry

I adore gymnastics, especially the floor routines.. feel very silly that I didn't realize before that men did said routines too, but <3
and also yes I do love watching the men's swimming events because.... reasons. yeah. reasons. #-.-#

Swimming has always been my life sport; from competing with our high school team, to receiving the chance to train at the USOC in Colorado Springs (met Gary Hall and Summer Sanders, eee!!). I cannot help but root for the US team. While it's been great to see Michael Phelps compete, I would have to say my most favorite moment was when Missy Franklin won her first gold... though seeing Katie Ledecky win gold for the 800m, that was another great swim. These girls are just amazing.

I root for the USA. I loved seeing the cauldron lit at the beginning, and my favorite sport is dressage.

I enjoy watching the gymnastics the most. ^ ^ It's always so interesting. The way they control themselves is amazing.
