Hm, when is our daily count being reset? 2 hours after our last adoption, when it turn midnight for the time zone the site uses or...?

I tried to adopt Vyne number 36855. I clicked yes and then went to my aywas page to move it into my collection, but it is nowhere to be found in my lair. So I went back and tried to re-adopt the same pet, and it now says I have already adopted for the day. o.o;;
