Though Vions will be getting in on the action, too.
We have four brand new Lunaris-themed items for you and your pets to enjoy.
Lunaris Star Blades and the Lunaris Shield will have you leaving your battle opponents literally starstruck! They are r100 items, so you might get lucky and have Kaz throw one at you--even though that doesn't sound particularly safe.
You'll also see the Starry Lunaris Cocktail and Starry Lunaris Soup stocking in Energy Dishes and Tasty Ay Foods, respectively. I'm sure Chaos will be requesting these snazzy new ingredients in his cooking classes, too!
In honor of Lunaris Day, you can pick up your complementary Lunaris Gift Bag from the advent calendar tomorrow. That way, our players from every timezone will be able to have a full 24 hours to snag one. :)

These are sitting pretty in the Cash Shop for their usual 250 GP and will be available until May 16th at 11:59 PM.
Don't have 250 GP? Then you might be interested in one of our upcoming raffles, so keep an eye out!
We added 12 new Lunaris colorations, so head on over to the Aywapedia if you want to take a peek at them all!
To help you obtain the new colorations, we have the Jar of Sparkles! It has 4 charges and each use will give you one of these new Lunaris Day pets! You can find it in the GP Shop for 20 GP, but you'll also see it appear as a contest prize and maybe even turn up in the Donation Box. :)
Now onto a little bit of Vion fun!
Our other maned rare also has 12 new colorations! We've stuffed them all inside this Shimmering Blue Pod, which also has 4 charges and will be given out as random online prizes throughout today and tomorrow. It's sitting alongside the Jar of Sparkles for 20 GP as well. You might find this one in the Donation Box, too!
You knew these would turn up somehow. :P
We will be hosting a raffle for one of these babies soon, so keep an eye out for that!
For some simple contest fun, I'd like to direct you to the Events forum. :3
I know we've been on an event marathon lately, but these contests are fun and super easy to enter, I promise!
First up is Roaring Stars, where you write a description for one of the new Vion or Lunaris colorations released today! All participants receive Luna Berries, and winners will receive extra prizes!
And the second is Custom Dreams, which is exactly what it sounds like. Simply tell us about your Vion- or Lunaris-related custom aspirations, and you might just find yourself the owner of one!

Kinda sucks that it's near impossible for me (and many others) to grab any of those items that gives you a Lunaris/Vion. =/ Too bad there wasn't another way to get them that didn't cost actual money.

I'm getting tired of all this "YOU MUST PAY US FOR SPECIALZ" when you can afford to donate to all kinds of different charities, etc. The prices here are starting to really make me sick. I think it's time to duck out before this becomes another Neopets. :/

If I'm not mistaken~ lunaris and vions are suppose to be rare. Personally, I love the idea of having super special pets on this site. ^^ When I first joined, coming from Wajas, everything seemed so easy to get. It still seems like that. But there are pets like these that provide some challenge, and I'm very happy for that.
In any case, you don't absolutely have to pay real money. It's easy enough to make both BP and GP. There are plenty of things people are willing to pay GP for, and for the BP you do make, you can spend it on more GP. Saving some for days like this is even more helpful. If you know an event is coming up, and lunaris day is an established event, try preparing for it ahead of time. Or don't spend GP on things that you're only half-hearted about. I think that's what a lot of people on this site do.
Of course it's hard to prioritize when everything on this site is so gorgeous. :P

I understand keeping them rare but $250 is a bit much for a pet. I don't even make that much on an art piece. :/ It would take me several commissions to afford the potion to make that custom.

Yeeeesh, when people complain they can't afford it, like /really/ complain and get all tantrumy, it really peeves me!
These things are supposed to be rare you guys, that's what makes them so amazing and homg coveted~

Also, to those complaining about the prices, remember, these are supposed to be expensive even for those that have lots of GP. :/ That means the site artists getting paid need to have to save for a bit to afford them.
Given how many free and cheaper items they give us all the time and the sales they randomly run I wouldn't complain about the OMGSUPERRARESPECIALS being expensive. : /
(I'm still hoping the potions stay in the shop until Friday though, so people can have paydays xD)
