Your goal is to design a pet that exemplifies the theme of amusement park summer fun--Rollercoasters, water rides, rigged games and cotton candy!
Here's some other things we have going on this month!
Themed Pet Days
Lunaris Day and Paleo Day are both this month!
Our poor Vion feels a little neglected since I forgot his birthday, so we'll be combining Vion Day with Lunaris Day. (I asked the Lunarises, they're cool with it.)
Slashbot Days
We're currently in the Jurassic period!
After that, we have a couple mysterious low-key themed days planned.
The reason why we've had a lot of Slashbot events lately is because many of these have been booked since last year or had to be squeezed in due to surprise circumstances. After May, we'll be returning to the schedule of a maximum of one Slashbot event per month, excluding busy months like October and December.
I will also be making a general announcement about Slashbots in the near future to help them be used to their full potential. :)
Spring Cleaning
There are a lot of old contests that need to be taken care of, rewards and pets that need handing out, and dusty pages that need updating.
For the next two months we will really be focusing on knocking all of these things out. Our staff has already been hard at work doing everything from sprucing up item descriptions by making them more informative and clear to fixing up tutorials and tackling things that need to be judged. A lot of this is background work that you don't see day to day, but we're hoping that our efforts will be visible soon.
We're also dividing up more staff tasks to make things more efficient for everyone and we will be putting out the call for new moderators shortly! If you love Aywas and helping people is a passion for you, keep an eye out!

Server Move
Slash is the head of the sledteam on this one. We know we have a server move coming up soon, so we'll be playing some things by ear and shuffle around dates if need be. From what I understand, there will be some downtime, but we will be given plenty of warning and instruction. :)

Hooray for Paleo/Lunaris/Vion days! And, uh...I don't guess there's any chance that those of us who are teachers can get that teacher appreciate bumble, eh? Being that I'm a teacher/grad student who's trying to afford a wedding this summer, I can't really buy GP at the moment, and I'm trying to hold on to what bit I have... :o) I can provide proof if needed (though so far I've only student taught and am job hunting, I can take a pic with my name badge or something). :)
