A short announcement to state that MBCs and RBCs have received a small price-hike to hopefully combat inflation. There's something to be said when a coin is only 3-4 GP, that's far too little even for these two!
Yes, this will inevitably cause upset, but the RBC & MBC queues combined almost equal the BC and LBC ones (GP coins!). Meaning that with the site growing that we need to raise prices to equalize with the amount being bought. We're not trying to make it impossible to earn things, but there's a LOT of BP out there and more and more geodes... so we have to make the coins worth their intended value.

Holy Gods, people! First off, ever hear the phrase 'Don't shoot the messenger'? I seriously doubt Frey likes having to make these announcements. She explains EVERY TIME they have to do something like this why they can't give warning, yet people still bitch. She's just doing her job. The new prices are undoubtedly based on how much currency is on site as well as the backed up queue. I can understand where the frustration comes from, but there's nothing wrong with just working a little harder to achieve your goals.

thank you payne! that's very sweet of you to offer. i support the breeding quota idea. it would redcue the strain on the servers by limiting the number of babies and reduce the amount of work required for the artists to do. i can't really see a negative side to this.

@Nemesis: I understand o.o I wasn't upset, nor am I. I mean i'm a bit saddened that I will infact have to collect more geo's but I know Fray is only doing her job.

i don't think anyone is trying to intentionally attack frey (i haven't seen any mesages like that). I think we are just trying to voice our concerns and opinions on this matter

There's probably so many out there due to the re-logins that happened up til recently. people were able to collect geodes anywhere from 2-6 times a DAY. I'm not surprised their price is going up. There are so many rbc's out there right now, plus the geodes themselves. A price increase was bound to happen to straighten this out, and I'm glad its there- RBC is SO backed up as it is, this should help a bit!

I didn't say no one has the right to be upset or to speak out, but there is out right attacking going on, and that's completely different.
I actually like the idea of a breeding quota. Perhaps someone should suggest it? I think it would be a great way to reduce the queue, and it would take a lot of stress off of the breeding staff.

Sorry, this isn't a "social injustice" - the price changes affect everyone, equally. You don't need luck to get BP, it only requires some strategy and investment of time.

@ladyserria you could try to find people that would do your customs free of charge. if they are metal designs or simple edits. i'll be more than glad to help you out there.
as for this price spike. I understand that there's alot of coins out there, but perhaps instead of spiking the cost up, we could put a breeding qouta? say 3 RBC pairs a month for each user? It's frustrating i know, but those of us who aren't lucky enough to get BP or GP out the ying yang can't afford to pay a million BP for one geode. And to be honest here lately all I've gotten from the rock quarry is metal geo's . so it would take forever to even buy one =/
