A short announcement to state that MBCs and RBCs have received a small price-hike to hopefully combat inflation. There's something to be said when a coin is only 3-4 GP, that's far too little even for these two!
Yes, this will inevitably cause upset, but the RBC & MBC queues combined almost equal the BC and LBC ones (GP coins!). Meaning that with the site growing that we need to raise prices to equalize with the amount being bought. We're not trying to make it impossible to earn things, but there's a LOT of BP out there and more and more geodes... so we have to make the coins worth their intended value.

@ Aporro - It is a requirement. That doesn't mean that everyone complies. PSD or not, we are all expected to produce quality babies. While I do LBC and not MBC, I've never made a "straight overlay" baby.

There are site pets that don't have PSDs? I don't have PSDs for any of my pets so have been trying to stick to using site pets for breeding. I was completely unaware that that might be an issue.
The rest of my post turned into a massive rant so I'm going to post it in the rants forum instead of here.

Also, I think it's brutally unfair to raise the price of an item (MBC) which may result in nothing better than a derp, while that's still the situation. Maybe what Rabbit Talon said, pay artist who have to deal with PSD-less breedings a little more for the sake of making them better quality.

i was about to buy enough gp to become premium and collect my one geode a day. 80% of the time it is metal with the rest being mostly bronze. very rarely do i get a gold or silver. i can't afford to buy geodes from the shops b/c i have to save my bp to pay artists for customs/predicts/etc, buy food for cooking i don't get while exploring, buy seasonal shop pets and items, etc.

i don't mind, to a degree, but i don't think the RBC's are worth a price-hike when there's a 50 percent chance of it breaking. Metal breeding coins, sure. those don't have a break percentage. But RBC's.... i know i won't be spending anymore money on them at that price. and i really don't see how it's going ot help combat inflation - it's going ot make people charge even MORE for gp because they'll know that people will buy it.

i agree jinx...i was going to use RBC's as my main breeding coin b/c what else am i going to do with my pp's? but i won't buy another one at that price...not when it could break on me.

@ Graymare - That may be true of you, but there are obviously some MBC artists who just make overlay pets when PSDs aren't available. I've gotten overlays back from breeding site pets with MBCs. Even if you're just breeding site pets, you're still paying for the coin, and it's not the least bit fair to give some people simple overlay babies and some people quality babies. Maybe a reminder just has to go out to the team of artists.

Normally things like this dont bother me but doubling the price of the rbc is a little extreme. For those of us who have no money to buy gp or lack the artistic talent to easily make gp it makes it all that much harder to breed pets. Its like with the mpt. Saying it would be ad for temporarily to get the input of them into the economy down. Well it has been about a year and their still ad with no end to it in sight. I am sorry but i don't see a year being temporary and a one hundred percent rise in cost is not small. I could understand like thirty to fifty percent increase but not one hundred percent.
