The famous Ice Sleeves raffle. You know that usually means some sort of intangible item.
Well, I got VengefulSpirits from DA to make us some animated pets...
(here's my OC as an example)
This raffle is for an
EXPERIMENTAL
animated SCC custom (that you describe, not that one there).I have no idea how well this'll work since it's a new concept, so be warned.
And no, you can't breed it for its animatedness D8
You'll get an unanimated version for breeding purposes.

I don't think he meant remove the image from the news post as a good example of the result you can get from winning the raffle, just from the actual pet. Which I think would be fair considering this is supposed to be a pretty rare and sought after prize, which many people are putting a lot of money into attempting to obtain via the raffle. If the raffle had been for a slot to be the first to test this new feature out, then I'd see no problem with it - it's just that one person apparently got something for free behind the scenes where no one else had that opportunity... so I can see how that would come off as unfair to others. That's my opinion on it, anyway. Gl to those putting their money into this raffle. The chances are way too low to interest me.

Lawl Slash if anyone spent that amount of money you could buy yourself a pretty little house and sell the site XDD -noms on-
And on another note, it's completely fair Daffu got her pet. She offered to experiment with Slash's curiosity and got rewarded for it :) It isn't unfair for people to have special things for doing something special or helpful. Also, I believe she paid for her pet by paying the artist herself rather than Slash getting it for her so she didn't get anything for free.

I still don't see how it's unfair. If you beta test a game, for example, you're given a free copy of the game.

When you beta test a game you normally have a lot of people testing it. This is just one lone person getting something that was suppose to be raffled off. Though I am on the fence if it's fair or not. I think if it was some other pet. Like the Neura, and someone was all "Hey, I've got a pre-coloured Neura. I'll test it for you." and they got it without winning a contest. It seems a bit unfair. If this is a contest only prize (the animated pets) then keep it that way. Don't let someone get ahead of the rest of everyone just because they had an animation pet ready to go.

But this ensures that whomever wins the prize can actually have an animated pet that works. Besides, I believe it was said Ryou paid for her pet herself. She isn't getting anything 'free'. She's just making sure it works. It's not unfair.

EXPERIMENTAL is in BIG CAPITAL letters. I doubt it really needed to be 'tested' if it's an experimental prize to start with. Sure, she paid for the pet. But she didn't win it. I personally think if you are going to raffle off a feature (that is for an experiment) then it should be kept that way. If Slash had got Daffu to test it BEFORE the raffle then I'd have no problem.

That is SO cool! Lovely OC, by the way. Daffu is an awesome user and definitely deserves the beta. Best of luck everyone! ...It would be really cool if there were an animation-add-on for existing pets (like a Dawn Crystal) for people who know animation and can provide the work themselves. That way the pet has an existing and breedable PSD as is, and it can open lots of opportunities to make an income with new skills, etc... Maybe it could even be an expensive SP item? Just throwing ideas out there! XP Feel free to ignore all this.

I assume you mean 500,000 BP because if you spent $500,000, I think I would fly to your house and worship the ground you walk upon. xD
