Those bottom two are great! However, the sketch marked 1 has the foreshortened front curled feathers too large, and the one marked 2 has extremely thin back legs. I'd prefer the one marked 1 due to how bird wings have color distributed with dull earthy colors on the underside and bright patterns on the upper. It would be awesome to have a Finx in a down-stroking wing position like it was about to go into a dive. The pose would be an active, unique base that's also easily edited, and it would bring out the best of both the bottom sketches' features.

I voted for the strutting one, but the top one was a close contender. I would be happy with either outcome!

they are actually ALL very good - i love the activity in the poses, it's what i aim for in an animal drawing. and the expression is excellent.
if i HAVE to choose just one, it would be the last (bottom right), as it makes the most of allthose charming features...but isn't there some way we could have them ALL? or maybe even an animated Finx using that art (site colored only, of course)?

They're all so cute it's hard to choose! I want 'em all! But since that's not an option, I chose "strutting" for the best design possibilities, in my opinion.
